Maria Petrovna Maksakova Jr. is a German-born Russian opera singer, a guest soloist with Bolshoi Theater, soloist with Moscow's Helikon-Opera and Mariinsky Opera Company (2011). She is the daughter of actress Lyudmila Maksakova and granddaughter of Maria Petrovna Maksakova Sr., a renowned Russian and Soviet opera singer. Maria Maksakova is the laureate of several prestigious events. Her extensive chamber repertoire includes works by Schumann, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Rakhmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov.

Anatoliy Yuriyovych Mokrenko was a Ukrainian operatic baritone who appeared internationally. He was also the director of the National Opera of Ukraine and a professor at the Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.

Vasyl Yaroslavovych Slipak was a Ukrainian baritone opera singer. From 1994 he frequently performed in France at such venues as Paris Opera and Opéra Bastille. For his opera performance, Slipak received several awards, including "Best Male Performance" for the Toreador Song. A volunteer in the Ukrainian army, Slipak was killed during the war in Donbass by a separatist sniper near the village of Luhanske, in Bakhmut region. Apart from opera, he was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine for his work as a volunteer soldier.
