
Erkki Johan Bäckman is a Finnish political activist, author and legal sociologist. In Russia he is also considered a human rights activist. He has been active in relation to Russian citizens' child custody rights abroad, and is regularly interviewed by the Russian media as a child custody expert. Bäckman has contentious views about Estonia, Latvia and Ukraine, and has been declared persona non grata and denied entry into Estonia, and has been expelled from Moldova.

Jussi Kristian Halla-aho is a Finnish politician who has served as a member of the Parliament of Finland from 2011 to 2014 and again since 2019, and as the leader of the Finns Party since 10 June 2017. Previously, between 2014 and 2019, he was a member of the European Parliament, where he was part of the Identity and Democracy group.

Jyrki Jouko Juhani Kasvi is a Finnish politician. He has been a member of the Finnish Parliament, representing the Green League. In the Parliament he was most active in the Committee for the Future, which he represented in the European Parliamentary Technology Assessment network (EPTA), related to technology assessment. He was first elected to the Parliament in 2003, re-elected for a second term in 2007, and lost his seat in the election of 2011. He was again elected in 2015. He has also been, among other things, a member of the city council of Espoo since 1997 and the second vice-president of the International Parliamentarians' Association for Information Technology (IPAIT) since 2004.

Seppo Lehto is a Finnish nationalist, currently living in Tampere. The main theme of his activism is the return of Finnish territories ceded to the Soviet Union in World War II. He also claims to lead several organizations. He has also drawn Mohammed caricatures.

Olavi Juhani Mäenpää was a Finnish politician and former chairperson of the Finnish People's Blue-Whites, a political party aligned with the far-right. He was born in Tyrvää, which later became a part of Sastamala. Mäenpää was a member of the City Council of Turku, his home city, from the beginning of 1993 until he lost his seat in the 2017 election.

Laura Pauliina Malmivaara is a Finnish actress. Her acting career began in 1993, and includes dozens of roles in film and television productions, as well as stage appearances. In addition to acting, she has also worked as a singer, photographer, television host, blogger, and model.

Rosa Anneli Meriläinen is a Finnish politician from Tampere. Meriläinen has a master's degree in political science from the University of Tampere. She was elected to the parliament of Finland in 2003. She represents the Green League. Before that she was the co-president of the green league and an assistant to Satu Hassi.

Niilo Paasivirta is a Finnish Internet personality, who has become known for the Internet writings that parody fundamentalist Christian views. In Finland, he's best known for the essays called "Oikeat Mielipiteet", and elsewhere for the "Love Thy Neighbor" and Game of Satan pages, that parody role-playing game moral panic, as well as his Foreigner's Guide to Finland page. The pages were written at the time when the moral panic was being discussed, and first in mid-1990s, and the humorous approach was both disapproved of, and later, as the moral panic waned, approved of.

Osmo Heikki Kristian Soininvaara is a Finnish politician and writer. He served as Minister of Social Services in Paavo Lipponen's second cabinet between 14 April 2000 and 19 April 2002. He was the leader of the Finnish Green League party from 2001 to 2005. Currently, he is a member of the Helsinki city council.

Juha Suoranta is a Finnish social scientist, and public intellectual. He is currently Professor in Adult Education at the University of Tampere. Previously he worked as Professor of Education at the University of Lapland (1997–2004), and Professor of Adult Education at the University of Joensuu (2004–2006). He is also Adjunct Professor in Music Education at the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki, and in media education at the University of Tampere. In sum he has published 38 books and umpteen scientific articles.

Astrid Gunilla Margareta Thors is a Member of the Finnish Parliament since 2004. A Finnish-Swedish politician, formerly of the Swedish People's Party, Thors is a Candidate of Law and held several senior jobs before becoming a Member of the European Parliament in 1996 where she worked until 2004. From 2005–2007 she chaired the Swedish Assembly of Finland.

Taneli Tikka was a CEO in a Finnish state-owned company called Valtion kehitysyhtiö Vake Oy from March 2018 to July 2019. He has worked for more than 30 companies as CEO, member of the board or otherwise in an advisory role. Tikka is active in public debate and has been recognized by his industry and technology expertise.

Linus Benedict Torvalds is a Finnish-American software engineer who is the creator and, historically, the principal developer of the Linux kernel, which is the kernel for GNU/Linux operating systems (distributions) and other operating systems such as Android and Chrome OS. He also created the distributed version control system Git and the scuba dive logging and planning software Subsurface.
Erkki Sakari Tuomioja is a Finnish politician and a member of the Finnish Parliament. From 2000 to 2007 and 2011 to 2015, he served as the Minister for Foreign Affairs. He was President of the Nordic Council in 2008.

Matti Taneli Vanhanen is a Finnish politician who was Prime Minister of Finland from 2003 to 2010. He was also Chairman of the Centre Party, and in the second half of 2006 he was President of the European Council. In his earlier career he was a journalist. Vanhanen is the son of professor Tatu Vanhanen and Anni Tiihonen. On June 9, 2020, he became the Minister of Finance.

Juha Tapio Vuorinen is a Finnish writer, columnist and radio personality. He is best known for his five-volume book series The Hangover Diaries, particularly the first volume Totally Smashed!. Since 1983, Vuorinen had been working as a reporter for radio and television, a director, a screenwriter and a producer.
