WIsmet Alajbegović "Šerbo" was a Bosnian accordionist, composer, and songwriter of folk songs.
WSilvana Bajraktarević, known professionally as Silvana Armenulić, was a Yugoslav singer-songwriter and actress and one of the most prominent commercial folk music and traditional sevdalinka singers in Yugoslavia. She is called the "Queen of Sevdalinka". Her life was cut short when she died in a car crash at the age of 37, but she continues to be well regarded in the region and she is recognized for her unique singing style and voice. Armenulić's song "Šta će mi život", written by her friend and contemporary Toma Zdravković, is one of the best-selling singles from the former Yugoslavia.
WHajrudina Bajraktarević Nikolić, known professionally as Dina Bajraktarević, is a Bosnian former singer and the younger sister of Silvana Armenulić and Mirjana Bajraktarević. Both of her sisters died in a car crash in 1976.

One of the founders of the New Primitivism cultural movement in his homeown of Sarajevo, he was also the lead singer and co-author for one of former Yugoslavia's best known bands, Zabranjeno Pušenje. He co-created and participated in TV shows Top lista nadrealista and Složna braća. During the Bosnian War Nele moved to Belgrade where he formed one of two descendant factions of Zabranjeno Pušenje. That splinter of the band was joined by filmmaker Emir Kusturica, and renamed it The No Smoking Orchestra.
