In 2013, he started using the mononym Ásgeir as his recording name. He performs with his own band, the Ásgeir Trausti Band. He also plays guitar in the Icelandic band The Lovely Lion.

Björn Kristjánsson, known professional as Borko, is an Icelandic musician. His debut album Celebrating Life was released in March 2008 on record labels Morr Music and Kimi Records. Borko and band toured with the Icelandic bands Múm, FM Belfast and Seabear. Now he is a teacher in Laugalækjarskóli.

Jón Jósep Snæbjörnsson or Jónsi is an Icelandic singer and a former member of the band Í svörtum fötum. He represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 and finished 19th. Jónsi once again represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan in a duet with singer Greta Salóme, qualifying for the Eurovision final and finishing in 20th place. Jón Jósep also performed the opening theme song to the Icelandic children's television show LazyTown.

Just Another Snake Cult is a lo-fi pop Icelandic troupe based out of Reykjavík, Iceland. It was formed in 2010 by multi-instrumentalist and bedroom-producer Þórir Bogason. They have developed a reputation of releasing limited-edition releases on a variety of formats. The project's debut full-length, The Dionysian Season, was released on CD by Brak Records. The follow-up, Ghosts, was released as digital download, and is no longer available. In 2012 they released an EP on cassette, Birds Carried Your Song, with hand-screened covers. Their latest release is entitled Cupid Makes a Fool of Me. It was awarded a Kraumur award and widely recognized as one of the best Icelandic albums of 2013. It was released in Europe in 2014 by Projekta Music.

Kjartan "Kjarri" Sveinsson is former keyboardist for the Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós. He joined the band in 1998. A multi-instrumentalist, he has also played such instruments as the flute, tin whistle, oboe, guitar and even the banjo, as well as many of the unorthodox instruments that contribute to Sigur Rós's distinctive sound.

He was a member of the rock band HAM in the years 1988–1994, as well as being the lead singer of the rock-cabaret band Dr. Spock. He also starred in several movies, including Sódóma Reykjavík from 1992, and Nói Albinói and Angels of the Universe from 2000.

Svavar Pétur Eysteinsson also known as Prins Póló is an Icelandic singer songwriter and experimental artist. He is also part of the Icelandic band Skakkamanage.

In 2007, she was a finalist in Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins; a competition looking for an artist to represent Iceland at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade. She has collaborated with other Icelandic musicians, including the band, Ske, and Haukur Gröndal. She moved to Aalborg, Denmark in 2014.

Selma Björnsdóttir, also known as simply Selma, is an Icelandic actress and singer born on in Reykjavík, best known internationally for representing her country in the Eurovision Song Contest in both 1999 and 2005.
