5566 was a Taiwanese boy band, formed under Taiwanese music company, J-Star. The name is derived from their original five members, working in six entertainment fields. Over the course of their career, they have starred in three idol dramas: My MVP Valentine, Westside Story, and Mr. Fighting. They have also released four albums: 1st Album, Boyfriend, Long Time No See, and Bravo; two compilation albums: C'est Si Bon Greatest Hits, I Love 56 - Re-emerging Legends: 5 Years Greatest Hits; and taken part in four OSTs: My MVP Valentine OST, Westside Story soundtrack, Mr. Fighting OST, and Ying Ye 3 Jia 1.

Beyond was a Hong Kong rock band formed in 1983. The band became prominent in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Mainland China, and Overseas Chinese communities. The band is widely considered as the most successful and influential Cantopop band from Hong Kong. In 1993, leader Wong Ka Kui, died at the age of 31 after an accident during the filming of a show at Fuji Television in Tokyo. Beyond continued to perform and record after Wong Ka Kui's death. In 2005, the remaining members Paul Wong, Wong Ka Keung and Yip Sai Wing decided to pursue their own solo careers, and Beyond officially disbanded.

They are considered the Asian The Black Eyed Peas due to the group's diversity. The band's Chinese band name directly translates into "big mouth". Their English band name is derived from the concatenation of the Chinese character for "big" 大, which when romanized using pinyin becomes "dà", and the translation of the second half of their Chinese band name. They released their self-titled debut album Da Mouth on 16 November 2007.

The band ranked as one of the top five most influential celebrities on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list from 2014 to 2018 and have been labeled "Kings of K-pop" and the "Biggest boyband in the world" by various media outlets.

F.I.R. is a Taiwanese pop rock band formed in 2004. The band consists of Lydia, Ian Chen (keyboards) and Real Huang. Producer Ian Chen formed his own band and recruited the other two members to form F.I.R. They are well known throughout Asia after their hit "Lydia", which gained popularity and was the theme song for the Taiwanese TV drama The Outsiders (鬥魚). The drama was aired in Taiwan without revealing the singer of the theme song. The song attracted many fans, which led to F.I.R.'s big success when they finally debuted in 2004.

Fahrenheit is a Taiwanese boy band composed of members Calvin Chen, Jiro Wang, Wu Chun, and Aaron Yan. They were formed in 2005 by Comic International Productions and HIM International Music. Their music is distributed by WOW Music in Hong Kong and by Pony Canyon in Japan. Fahrenheit ware often associated with their labelmate seniors S.H.E, who are also under HIM International Music.

The Flowers,, were a Chinese rock band formed in Beijing in 1998. The line-up originally consisted of Dà Zhāng Wěi (大张伟), Guō Yáng (郭阳), and Wáng Wénbó (王文博). To expand their sound, the Flowers brought in Shí Xǐngyŭ (guitar) (石醒宇) in 2001. Throughout their recording career, they recorded and released six studio albums. Following personal struggles with fame and possible tensions with Zhang Wei, Xǐngyŭ left in the summer of 2008. The group later held a talent competition looking for a new member to replace Xingyu. The Flowers disbanded in June 2009.

Hey Girl was a Taiwanese girl group. Channel [V] held an audition for the show Blackie's Teenage Club (我愛黑澀會), a variety show that aims to create new female entertainers in Taiwan. At the end of 2005, Channel [V] picked nine members to represent the other girls. These nine members were Gui Gui, Ning Er, MeiMei, Apple, Hsiao Hsun, Ya Tou, Hsiao Man, Bae Tung Tung, and Ta Ya. Together, they are affectionately known as the Nine Beauties for short.

Power Station is a Taiwanese rock duo, composed of Yu Chiu-hsin and Yen Chih-lin, both of the Paiwan tribe of Taiwan's Pingtung County. Their looks and long hair stand out from the mainstream Taiwan pop scene because of their resemblance to western heavy metal musicians. In 2001, Power Station released their first album on the Grand Music label, Walking Along Zhongxiao East Road Nine Times. The title track of that album won the Silver Award for Best Mandarin Song at the 24th RTHK Top Ten Golden Song Awards.

Rocket Girls 101 was a Chinese idol girl group formed by Tencent through the 2018 reality show Produce 101 China on Tencent Video. The project girl group consists of eleven-members that came from different companies: Meng Meiqi, Wu Xuanyi, Yang Chaoyue, Duan Aojuan, Yamy, Lai Meiyun, Zhang Zining, Sunnee, Li Ziting, Fu Jing and Xu Mengjie. They made their debut on 23 June 2018, with the single song "Rocket Girls".

S.H.E is a Taiwanese girl group whose members are Selina Jen, Hebe Tien, and Ella Chen. They formed in 2001 and are managed by HIM International Music but decided not to renew their contract in 2019 due to having their own management company.

Sodagreen is a Taiwanese indie band formed in 2001. Its members have been unchanged since 2003. Sodagreen emerged in the Taiwanese indie music scene after receiving the Grand Jury Award in the Hohaiyan Gongliau Rock Festival in 2004, after which it signed a contract with Willlin Music. The band is the first indie band to hold a concert in the Taipei Arena.

SpeXial is a Taiwanese boy band formed by Comic International Productions in 2012. The group name is a combination of "eXtra" and "Special", which expresses the desire of the group to be unique. The group started off with four members and debuted on December 7, 2012 with their self-titled album, SpeXial. After several lineup changes, the group's final line-up consists of five members: Sam, Evan, Win, Ian, and Dylan. Their fandom name is SXF, which represents "Special Mission".

Uniq is a five-member Chinese–South Korean boy group formed by Chinese company Yuehua Entertainment in 2014. The group consists of Zhou Yixuan, Kim Sung-joo, Li Wenhan, Cho Seung-youn, and Wang Yibo. Uniq officially debuted on October 20, 2014 with their debut single "Falling In Love" in both China and South Korea.

Xiao Hu Dui, also known as the Little Tigers, were a Taiwanese boy band formed in 1988. The band consisted of Alec Su, Nicky Wu and Julian Chen. The trio rose to fame during the late 1980s, achieving success in their native Taiwan and throughout Asia. Their success led to the recognition, popularity and creation of Taiwanese idol boy bands and other pop acts. Xiao Hu Dui are cited as the first idol band. After a brief hiatus, the group disbanded in 1995. The three members went on to pursue solo careers. They sold over 15 million albums.

Yu·Quan is a Chinese soft rock duet. They were founded in June 1998 as a duo between Chen Yufan (陈羽凡) and Hu Haiquan (胡海泉). They are from Beijing and Shenyang, Liaoning respectively. Both members were born in 1975. They were signed with Taiwanese music distributor Rock Records in 1999. Since then the duo has published a total of nine albums, with over seven million records sold. The duo is very well received in mainland China.
