
Arakain is a Czech metal band founded in Prague in 1982 by former members of the band Apad, whose vocalist, Aleš Brichta, became the frontman of the new project and remained with the band until 2002. The other founding members were guitarist Jiří Urban and drummer Miroslav Nedvěd. After Brichta's departure, Petr Kolář took over vocal duties, and was in turn replaced by Jan Toužimský in 2005. The band's lineup has changed multiple times since its inception, so that the only remaining original member is guitarist Jiří Urban.Arakain are considered to be one of the most influential Czech metal bands.

Kreyson is a Czech metal band founded in Prague in 1989 by Ladislav Křížek after leaving the band Citron. He was joined by Jaroslav Bartoň, also from Citron, Daniel Krob (Arakain), Robert Vondrovic (Arakain), and Karel Adam (Moped).
Lucie is a Czech rock band. After an initial period of stabilization of band members and musical style (1985-1987), they entered the music scene with their first single "Pár fíglů" in 1988. Over the next sixteen years, the band released seven studio albums, two concert albums, and one compilation album. On 2 October 2004, the group entered a "planned creative break" that ended in December 2012.

Midi lidi are a Czech electro band, consisting of Petr Marek, Prokop Holoubek, Markéta Lisá, Tomino Kelar, and others. The group wrote music for Marek Najbrt's films Protector and Polski film, as well as the documentary film Czech Peace. They also wrote the soundtrack for the series Kancelář Blaník, which is hosted on the Czech internet television channel stream.cz

Wanastowi Vjecy is a Czech rock band formed in 1988 in Prague. The group consists of Robert Kodym on vocals and guitar, Štěpán Smetáček on drums, Tomáš Vartecký on guitar, and Radek Havlíček on bass. They began as a punk band but settled into a mainstream rock sound by the early 1990s. Kodym and former member P.B.CH. were also in the band Lucie, led by David Koller, which they had formed together in 1985. The duo formed the core of Wanastowi Vjecy until 2010, when P.B.CH. left.
Yellow Sisters is a Czech female vocal quartet, known for singing a cappella. Its members are Antonia Tereza Nyass, Barbora Vaculíková, Lucie Hawa Goldin and Léňa Yellow – Lenka Jankovská. Their singing is inspired by many musical styles and regions. They call themselves "sound illusionists" and their repertoire is purely self-composed. Their sound is quite experimental and playful, based on the rhythms of the Czech language.
