Devotion is a compilation album by American alternative rock band Anberlin that was released on October 15, 2013, a year after its predecessor Vital. The album is a rework of the band's sixth studio album, Vital which came out the year before. Devotion is the band's fourth compilation album and tenth overall effort of their career and features the original track-listing of Vital, along with three new self-produced songs: "City Electric", "Dead American", and "IJSW", as well as songs from exclusive releases of Vital for iTunes, Best Buy and the Australian market. The deluxe version contains three discs, disc one being the reworked version of Vital, disc two is a compilation of remixes of the album's songs, while the third disc is a DVD containing a full concert at Music Hall of Williamsburg from mid-2012. The standard edition includes only the reworked "Vital" disc and a CD of the Williamsburg audio. The album was first announced on the band's official website in September 2013, where they revealed they would be releasing "a collection we're calling Devotion: Vital Special Edition".

"Feel Good Drag" became the first single from New Surrender, which was the band's first album on major label Universal Republic. It was intended for release to American radio stations on August 18, 2008, however after a week-long delay it was released on August 26, 2008.

"Paperthin Hymn" is the second single from alternative rock band Anberlin's second album Never Take Friendship Personal. The song charted at No. 38 on Modern Rock Chart in the U.S. The song was reportedly inspired by the death of guitarist Joseph Milligan's sister at 29 due to cancer. It is also on the Midnight Sun playlist, created by Stephenie Meyer. The song was performed by the band on G4's Attack of the Show! in 2006.

Blueprints for the Black Market is the first studio album released by the band Anberlin. It was released on May 6, 2003, barely a year after the band formed, and was the only album that was released with guitarist Joey Bruce in the band line-up. Blueprints had two singles, "Readyfuels", for which a music video was filmed and "Change the World ". Although the album has sold over 60,000 units, its success pales compared to Anberlin's later albums, failing to chart on the Billboard 200.

Cities is the third studio album by American alternative rock band Anberlin, released on February 20, 2007. The songs "Godspeed" and "The Unwinding Cable Car" were released as singles with accompanying music videos. The album debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard 200.
