
Desmod is a Slovak music band, playing mainly mainstream pop-rock songs, founded in 1996. The former lineup is completely different from the current one and they have played genres including soft rock and pop rock. Nowadays, Desmod is one of the most popular Slovak music groups.

DZIERZYNSKI BITZ is a retro/indie band founded by vocalist and main songwriter Wojciech Dzerzhinski. Hailing from Slovakia, Pavlovce-nad-Uhom, the band's unique style is equally influenced by Edward Gil and Syd Barrett, the East-European pre-war music and the British new wave sound. Under The Gun Review recently labelled their sound "multi-instrumental new wave croon pop".

The Last Days Of Jesus is a Slovak Progressive Goth Rock band. They formed in Bratislava in May 1992 to combine the spirit of old school Batcave and Deathrock with new musical sounds and patterns. The name originates from a headline band member MaryO read in an American newspaper.

Longital is a Slovak music group. They take their name from the old name for the Bratislava suburb, Dlhé diely, in which they live.

No Name is a Slovak rock band. It was formed in Košice on 26 August 1996 by Viliam Gutray and three Timko brothers - Igor, Roman, and Ivan. Marián Čekovský joined No Name as a keyboardist and was replaced by Zoli Šallai after leaving the band. A few years later, the youngest Timko brother, Dušan, also became a member of No Name.

Peha formerly known as Peha & Karmen Pál-Baláž was a Slovak band originating from Prešov, Slovakia. They won a 2006 Aurel Award for Best Song with their hit "Spomal".

TWiiNS were a Slovak twin pop duo consisting of sisters Daniela and Veronika Nízlová who were born on 15 May 1986 in Hronský Beňadik. They are best known for representing Slovakia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "I'm Still Alive".

Zóna A is a Slovak punk rock band formed in 1984 in Bratislava. The lead vocalist Peter "Koňýk" Schredl is the only co-founder who is still in the band.
