The African Aerospace and Defence Expo (AAD) is an aerospace and defence exhibition held every two years at AFB Waterkloof, in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. The exhibition combines a trade exhibition and an air show.

CANSEC is Canada's global defence and security trade show hosted annually in Ottawa since 1998. It is hosted by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), the national industry voice of more than 800 Canadian defence and security companies. Eurosatory is an international Defence and Security industry trade fair that is held every two years in the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, Paris, France. In 2018 it gathered over 1,800 exhibitors and over 57,000 visitors. It is organized by COGES in partnership with the French Ministry of Defense.

The Farnborough Airshow, officially the Farnborough International Airshow, is a trade exhibition for the aerospace and defence industries, where civilian and military aircraft are demonstrated to potential customers and investors. Since its first show in 1948, Farnborough has seen the debut of many famous planes, including the Vickers VC10, Concorde, the Eurofighter, the Airbus A380, and the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. The International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO claims to be the largest trade fair event dedicated to military equipment in Central and Eastern Europe. Established in 1993, it is currently held every year at Targi Kielce in Kielce, Poland. The exhibition brings together over 400 exhibitors from 29 countries and attracts more than 13,000 visitors annually. The MSPO showcases the latest military technologies, armaments and products for the army. This four-day trade fair is attended by the professionals, who represent Polish Army, the Police, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Interior and Administration, and Polish Government. The International Defence Industry Exhibition is held together with the International Logistics Fair LOGISTYKA. LOGISTYKA displays wide range of products, ranging from uniforms, food products and equipment used for meal preparation to storage and transport, medical equipment, communications and IT systems and electronic engineering solutions.
The International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF) is a defence industry fair held in Turkey and organized by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation since 1993. The Foundation organizes the IDEF once in every two years and before each fair it chooses the organizer firm and exhibition venue by calling a tender. The exhibitions generally take place in Ankara or Istanbul.

MAKS is an international air show held at Zhukovsky International Airport, the home of the Gromov Flight Research Institute in Zhukovsky, 40 km (25 mi) southeast of Moscow, Russia. Established in 1909, it has been held every odd year since 1949 at Paris–Le Bourget Airport in north Paris, France.

The Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) is a special operations and homeland security event that is held every two years at the King Abdullah I airbase in Marka, Jordan. The specialized event is held under the patronage of King Abdullah II, the supervision of Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein and is supported by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF).
