
The Bangladesh Navy currently operates two submarines, one hundred and fifteen surface ships, craft and boats, including five guided missile frigates, two patrol frigates, six guided missile corvettes, thirty-eight minor surface combatants of various types, thirty auxiliaries and amphibious landing craft and thirty-two small response boats. It also maintains a naval aviation unit with both fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft. In addition, six shore establishments are maintained.

She is currently moored at Chattogram, serving with the Commodore Commanding BN Flotilla (COMBAN). About 200 personnel serve aboard her.
