The largest comprise a livestock show, a trade fair, competitions, and entertainment. The work and practices of farmers, animal fanciers, cowboys, and zoologists may be displayed. The terms agricultural show and livestock show are synonymous with the North American terms county fair and state fair.
WBerlin International Green Week, also called simply Green Week, is an important international trade fair held annually in Berlin, Germany, for processors and marketers in agriculture, horticulture and various food industries. Green Week traditionally takes place at the beginning of the year in the Messe Berlin exhibition halls under the Funkturm and is open to the general public. In 2010 it had around 400,000 visitors. That same year, the Paris International Agricultural Show had 650,000 visitors.
WFeria Agrícola Educativa Cinco Días con Nuestra Tierra is a five-day agricultural fair held every year in the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. The event is organized and worked by volunteer students, alumni, professors, and personnel, the university collaborate in an institutional level and collaborates in other matters. Hundreds of thousands of people attend the fair, the majority being school excursions, environmentalist and agricultural clubs, elderly groups, communities, impaired children, churches and general public interested in learning agriculture. Federal and local agencies also participate, such as the "Autoridad de Desperdicios Sólidos", "Servicio de Extensión Agrícola" and the Department of Agriculture, among others.
WA field day is a large trade show for agricultural industry and equipment, especially for broadacre farming. It contrasts with an agricultural show in that a show focuses on livestock and judging, a field day focuses on equipment, demonstrations and processes.

WA pony ride is an opportunity for children to ride real ponies for a short time, usually seen at fairs, guest ranches, zoos, summer camps, private children's parties and similar places. Children on pony rides do not handle the pony themselves, but they need to be old enough to sit up straight and hold their head up without support. Pony rides may be given on individually hand-led ponies, or in a group of ponies, usually four to six, placed on a "pony wheel," a small type of hot walker that leads all ponies in a walk on a small circle so that fewer handlers are needed. Safety is a paramount concern and insurance companies consider pony rides to be a high-risk activity. There are concerns about the welfare of some ponies used for pony rides.
WThrissur Pooram Exhibition or commonly known as the All India Agricultural, Industrial, Educational and Cultural Exhibition is an exhibition organised jointly by Paramekkavu Bagavathi Temple Devaswom and Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple Devaswom, ahead of Thrissur Pooram in Thekkinkadu Maidan in Thrissur city. It is usually conducted over a period of 40 to 50 days during the Thrissur Pooram.The exhibition is the largest in Kerala in terms of attendance and floor space.
WTillage Live is the United Kingdom's largest national cultivations event. The show focuses on all aspects of crop establishment. It is organised each year by the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) on behalf of the industry. In 2012 the event attracted thousands of visitors to see around 55 exhibitors, including leading farm machinery manufacturers such as Claas, Pottinger, Lite-Trac, Opico and Kuhn, with 24 working demonstrations.
