
Bana al-Abed is a Syrian girl from Aleppo, Syria who, with assistance from her English-speaking mother, sent messages through Twitter documenting the siege of the city. Most of these tweets have documented issues such as airstrikes, destruction, hunger, displacement, the prospect of her and her family's death, her longing for a peaceful childhood, the al-Bab district of eastern Aleppo, and her general calls for peace.

Sonita Alizadeh is an Afghan rapper and activist who has been vocal against forced marriages. Alizadeh first gained attention when she released "Brides for Sale," a video in which she raps about daughters being sold into marriage by their families. With the help of Rokhsareh Ghaem Maghami, an Iranian documentary filmmaker who over three years documented her story in the film Sonita, Alizadeh filmed the video to escape a marriage her parents were planning for her, even though it is illegal for women to sing publicly in Iran, where she was living at the time. After releasing the video on YouTube, Alizadeh was contacted by the Strongheart Group, which offered her a student visa and financial help to come and study in the United States of America, where she then relocated and has resided since. In 2015, she was listed as one of BBC's 100 Women.

Choc'late Allen is a child activist who arose to national awareness in early 2007 by engaging in a 5-day fast in an effort to promote the concept of Taking Personal Responsibility for our individual thoughts and actions; in order to treat with social issues plaguing Trinidad and Tobago. During such activity, the young CEO of Caribbean Vizion, received visits from many citizens and dignitaries; including, then Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar and then Prime Minister Patrick Manning.

Muzoon Almellehan is a Syrian activist and refugee resettled in the United Kingdom. She is known for her work to keep Syrian girls in school, and has been referred to as the "Malala of Syria". In June 2017, she has become the youngest GoodWill Ambassador to UNICEF.

Netiwit 'Frank' Chotiphatphaisal is a Thai student activist, librarian, conscientious objector, publisher, and author. He is also a founder of TERA and Education for Liberation of Siam. Both groups aim to reform the Thai education system.

Tony Chung Hon-lam is a Hong Kong pro-independence activist. He was the founder and convenor of the localist student group Studentlocalism. On 29 July 2020, he became the first political figure to be arrested on suspicion of violating the newly imposed national security law and has also been charged with money laundering and publishing seditious articles.

Frederika Alexis Cull is an Indonesian-Australian actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the title of Puteri Indonesia 2019. She represented Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant, where she placed in the Top 10, Frederika became the seventh Indonesian, and the first representative of Jakarta SCR to be placed as a finalist in Miss Universe history.

Jesica Fitriana Martasari Alfharisi is an Indonesian Ministry of Tourism Ambassador, HIV/AIDS activist, TV commercial model and a beauty pageant titleholder who won the title of Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2019. She represented Indonesia at the Miss Supranational 2019 pageant, where she placed as the 2nd runner-up, the highest placement of Indonesia at the Miss Supranational pageant, continuing the ongoing 4th year placement streaks of Indonesia, consecutively since Intan Aletrinö in 2016, Karina Nadila Niab in 2017 and Wilda Octaviana Situngkir in 2018.

Honcques Laus is a Hong Kong pro-independence activist, utilitarian, and writer. He is the founding and current chairperson of the Hongkonger Utilitarian Party and former Ming Pao Student Reporter. In 2017, he displayed a slogan showing 'Hong Kong independence' during a Ming Pao student event attended by the Chief Executive Carrie Lam. In 2020, he fled to the United Kingdom due to the controversial national security law passed in June, and was wanted by the Hong Kong Police Force later after.

Raden Roro Ayu Maulida Putri is an Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Ambassador, National Head of Communication of the Indonesian COVID-19 Response Acceleration Task Force, fashion model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the title of Puteri Indonesia 2020. She will represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant. Maulida is the third delegate from East Java to ever be crowned Puteri Indonesia after Putri Raemawasti in 2007 and Elvira Devinamira in 2014.

Rhys Morgan is a consumer watchdog, science activist, and health blogger from Wales who first received acclaim in 2010 when, at the age of 15, he played a key role in raising awareness of the health risks of Miracle Mineral Supplement. Morgan brought attention to the fact that the product contained bleach and was being illegally marketed as a "miracle" cure, which prompted a consumer warning across the European Union and earned Morgan a James Randi Award for Grassroots Activism.

Parit Chiwarak is a Thai political activist, Thammasat University student at the Faculty of Political Science, and one of the leaders of the 2020 Thai protests, via the United Front of Thammasat and Demonstration group. Parit was first arrested in mid-August and then released on bail, and is currently facing 18 charges, from violating cleanliness laws to sedition.

Pro-Test was a British group that promoted and supported animal testing in medical research. It was founded on 29 January 2006 to counter SPEAK, an animal-rights campaign opposing the construction by Oxford University of a biomedical and animal-research facility, which SPEAK believes may include a primate-testing centre. Pro-Test held its first rally on 25 February 2006, attracting hundreds in support of the research facility and opposed by a smaller number of anti-lab demonstrators.

Satta Fatumata Sheriff is a Liberian Human Rights Activist, Founder and Executive Director Action for Justice and Human Rights (AJHR) - an NGO working to demand access to Justice and Respect for Human Rights in Liberia. She's one of Africa's 100 Most Influential Young Persons, a Young Leader for the Sustainable Development Goals, United Nations and former Speaker of the Liberian Children's Parliament.

Ahed Tamimi is a Palestinian activist from the village of Nabi Salih in the occupied West Bank in the Palestinian territories. She is best known for appearances in images and videos in which she confronts Israeli soldiers. Tamimi's advocates consider her a freedom fighter for Palestine, comparing her to Malala Yousafzai; her detractors argue she is manipulated by political parents and has been taught to engage with violence.

Joshua Wong Chi-fung is a Hong Kong activist and politician. He served as secretary-general of the pro-democracy party Demosistō until it disbanded following the implementation of the Hong Kong national security law on 30 June 2020. Wong was previously convenor and founder of the Hong Kong student activist group Scholarism. Wong first rose to international prominence during the 2014 Hong Kong protests, and his pivotal role in the Umbrella Movement resulted in his inclusion in TIME magazine's Most Influential Teens of 2014 and nomination for its 2014 Person of the Year; he was further called one of the "world's greatest leaders" by Fortune magazine in 2015, and nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017.
