The Alberta Federation of Labour (AFL) is the Alberta provincial trade union federation of the Canadian Labour Congress. It has a membership of approximately 170,000 from 29 affiliated unions.

The Association of University of New Brunswick Teachers (AUNBT) is the trade union representing the full-time and part-time professors, instructors, and academic librarians at the University of New Brunswick in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. Established in 1956 as a faculty association, AUNBT joined the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) that same year. In 1979 the organization was certified by the Industrial Relations Board as the bargaining agent for full-time academic staff, both faculty and librarians, at the two principal campuses of UNB. The first collective agreement came into effect in 1980.

The Authentic Labor Front is a confederation of labor unions in Mexico. It was formed as a progressive "Social Catholic" organization in 1960 in response to the nation's labor strife of 1958-1959. Following the strikes of these years, the Mexican government replaced the leaders of the rebellious mine, railroad and oil workers' unions with charros. The FAT supported union democracy and opposed the authoritarian tendencies of the ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). FAT activists have also challenged the mainstream Confederation of Mexican Workers (CTM).

The Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen (BRS) is a labor union in the United States. It represents workers who install and maintain railroad signal systems and highway-rail crossing warning systems on rail transport networks. Founded in 1901, it has a membership of approximately 10,500. It also represents employees who build railroad signal equipment.

The Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions (CFNU) is a trade union centre in Canada. The CFNU is a federation of provincial unions representing registered nurses, registered psychiatric nurses, registered or licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, student nurses and a range of allied health care workers. It advocates on a national level for issues related to nurses, health care and workers. On behalf of its 200,000+ members, the CFNU works with federal parliamentarians and policy-makers on current and pressing issues related to health care and workers’ rights. They also conduct and provide evidence-based data to decision-makers through reports and research, to support policy making and development.

The Canadian Football League Players' Association represents Canadian football players in the Canadian Football League (CFL). The association was established in 1965, when local lawyer John Agro became concerned by the number of Hamilton Tiger-Cats players approaching him with legal questions about contracts, medical coverage and pensions.

The Canadian Media Guild (CMG) is a trade union representing employees at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Canadian Press, Thomson Reuters, Agence France-Presse, the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, Corus Entertainment, CJRC Radio in Gatineau, Que., TVOntario and ZoomerMedia.

The Canadian Office and Professional Employees Union (COPE) is a Canadian labour union representing approximately 35,000 white-collar workers, in both the private and public sectors, in 44 locals across Canada.

The Coalition of Graduate Employee Unions consists of unions representing graduate employees at universities in Canada and the United States. The coalition formed in 1992 and each year it organizes a yearly conference at which representatives from graduate employee unions come together to teach and learn from each other about organizing, negotiating contracts, tactics, and mobilization of members. In past conferences, the delegates spent part of one of the days on the picket line in solidarity with a group of striking workers in the city hosting the conference, but this has not occurred in recent years. In the period between conferences CGEU provides a forum for graduate employee unions to share information with each other, and maintains a website with information about graduate employee organizing.

The Confederación de Unificación Sindical is a national trade union center in Nicaragua. It was formed in 1964 as the Nicaraguan Trade Union Council (CSN).

The Confederación Unitaria de Trabajadores de Honduras (CUTH) is a national trade union center in Honduras. It was formed in 1992.

The Confederation of Workers of the Republic of Panama is a national trade union center located in Panama. It has a claimed membership of 35,000 and is affiliated with the International Trade Union Confederation.

The Convergencia Sindical is a national trade union center in Panama. It is affiliated with the International Trade Union Confederation.

The Costa Rican Confederation of Workers (CTRN) Costa Rican trade union center. It was formed in 1991 by the merger of three union centres.

The Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec is the largest labour federation in Quebec in terms of its membership. It has over 500,000 members, who account for 44% of the unionised workers in Quebec. This ratio is 60% in the private sector, in which most members work. It also has many members in government agencies.

The International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers is a trade union in the United States and Canada, founded in 1903. It is affiliated with the AFL–CIO and the Canadian Labour Congress and the North America's Building Trades Unions.

The International Plate Printers, Die Stampers and Engravers Union of North America is a North American labor union, one of the constituent members of the Department for Professional Employees of the AFL-CIO; and of the Canadian Labour Congress, founded in 1893. It is the result of a number of mergers of labor unions, and is headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland

The International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC) is a labor union in the United States and Canada which represents bricklayers, restoration specialists, pointers/cleaners/caulkers, stonemasons, marble masons, cement masons, plasterers, tilesetters, terrazzo mechanics, and tile, marble and terrazzo finishers. The union is an affiliate of the AFL-CIO and its Building and Construction Trades Department. It is also affiliated with the Canadian Labour Congress in Canada.
The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) is a union representing about 100,000 painters, glaziers, wall coverers, flooring installers, convention and trade show decorators, glassworkers, sign and display workers, asbestos worker/hazmat technician and drywall finishers in the United States and Canada. Most of its members work in the construction industry.

The Toronto Labour Day Parade is an annual event held in the city of Toronto. The first parade was held in December 1872 and was organized by what was then the Toronto Trades and Labour Assembly and staged in support of the Toronto Typographical Union's strike for a 58-hour work-week. Twenty-seven unions joined the parade to demonstrate in support of the Typographical Union who had been on strike since 25 March. The Toronto Trades and Labour Council subsequently held similar celebrations every spring. On 23 July 1894, Canadian Prime Minister John Thompson's government made Labour Day an official holiday, moving it to the first Monday of September. Consequently, subsequent parades were held on the new date.

The Manitoba Federation of Labour is the Manitoba provincial trade union federation of the Canadian Labour Congress.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour is the Newfoundland and Labrador provincial trade union federation for the Canadian Labour Congress. It was founded in 1937, and has a membership of 65,000.

The Ontario Federation of Labour is a federation of labour unions in the Canadian province of Ontario. The original OFL was established by the Canadian Congress of Labour in 1944. It was merged with the rival Ontario Provincial Federation of Labour in 1957, one year after the merger of the CCL and the Trades and Labour Congress. It is now the provincial federation of the Canadian Labour Congress.

The Prince Edward Island Federation of Labour (PEIFL) is the Prince Edward Island provincial trade union federation of the Canadian Labour Congress.

The Sandinista Workers' Centre is the dominant national trade union center in Nicaragua. It was formed following the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) revolution of 1979. The CST is closely linked with the FSLN, and was previously affiliated with the World Federation of Trade Unions.

The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) is the Saskatchewan provincial trade union federation of the Canadian Labour Congress. It has a membership of 98,000. In 2006, the SFL celebrated its 50th anniversary.

The Seafarers International Union of Canada is a Canadian labour union of mariners working aboard Canadian flag vessels. SIU Canada is an affiliate union of Seafarers International Union.

SUNTRACS is one of the leading trade union forces in Panama, with 40,000 members and a militant style of class war unionism. It is the leader union within Coordinadora de Unidad Sindical (CONUSI), the most radical of the major union federations in Panama.

The TCRC Division 105 Locomotive Engineers is a local union of the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference, itself affiliated with Teamsters Canada.

Teamsters Canada is a Canadian trade union affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and the Canadian Labour Congress. Although the Teamsters have been present in Canada since 1903, Teamsters Canada was only established in 1976. The organization represents 120,000 workers in all industries. It is the largest transportation union in the country, and the largest private sector union under federal jurisdiction.

Unifor Local 111 is a local union of the general trade union Unifor. It represents conventional and community bus operators for Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver. It was founded as Canadian Auto Workers Local 111 from the remnants of the Independent Canadian Transit Union, which had acrimoniously broken from the U.S.-dominated Amalgamated Transit Union. ICTU was a maverick union, never part of the labour mainstream, and eventually the ICTU membership voted to reenter the labour establishment by joining the Canadian Auto Workers, which ironically broke from U.S.-dominated United Auto Workers about the same time ICTU came into being.

The Union des artistes (UDA) or Artist union is a Quebec-based labour organization representing stage, television, radio and film performers in French-language media in Canada. It represents over 6,900 members and is affiliated with the International Federation of Actors (FIA). The current president is Sophie Prégent.

The Union of Postal Communications Employees is a Canadian public employee labour union.

The Vancouver Police Union (VPU) is a trade union representing 1,450 front-line police officers, jail guards and special constables of the Vancouver Police Department in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The Yukon Federation of Labour (YFL) is the Yukon trade union federation of labour chartered by the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC). Although the Yukon is not, strictly speaking, a province, the CLC has recognized the YFL as a provincial federation of labour with the same standing as those of the ten Canadian provinces.
