Francis Thomas Aiken was an Irish revolutionary and politician who served as Tánaiste from 1965–1969, Minister for External Affairs from 1957 to 1969 and 1951 to 1954, Minister for Finance from 1945 to 1948, Minister for the Co-ordination of Defensive Measures 1939 to 1945, Minister for Defence from 1932 to 1939 and Minister for Lands and Fisheries from June–November 1936.

Denis Allen was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. Allen was an unsuccessful candidate at the June 1927 general election, but later that year at the September 1927 general election he was elected to Dáil Éireann as Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála (TD) for the Wexford constituency. He was re-elected at the 1932 general election, but lost his seat at the 1933 general election.

Bobby Aylward is a former Irish Fianna Fáil politician who served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Carlow–Kilkenny constituency from 2007 to 2011 and 2015 to 2020.

Patrick Belton was an Irish nationalist, politician, farmer, and businessman. Closely associated with Michael Collins, he was active in the 1916 Easter Rising and in the Republican movement in the years that followed. Belton later provided a strong Catholic voice in an Irish nationalist context throughout his career. He was strongly anti-communist and he was a founder and leader of the Irish Christian Front. Supportive of Francisco Franco, Belton however opposed Eoin O'Duffy taking an Irish Brigade to Spain, feeling that they would be needed in Ireland to counter domestic "political ills".

George Cecil Westropp Bennett was an Irish Catholic Cumann na nGaedheal and Fine Gael politician from 1927 to 1951. He was born in Ballymurphy, his father's estate in County Limerick in 1877. He was the second son of Captain Thomas Westropp Bennett, a British Army officer and a scion of an old Limerick family of Protestant Irish Gentry, a class known in history as Anglo-Irish. His forebears has been landowners in Co Limerick since the 1650s, active in local politics as Justices of the Peace and Freemen of Limerick. Two maternal ancestors, Lord Massy of Duntryleague and General Lord Clarina had sat in the Henry Grattan's Irish Parliament in the 1780s and 1790s both in the Irish House of Commons and Irish House of Lords. His elder brother Thomas Westropp Bennett had a very successful career as a Senator and Cathaoirleach of the Irish Free State Senate as well as serving in the Board of the Irish Agricultural Organisation Society (IAOS) for many years with Sir Horace Plunkett.

Neil Terence Columba Blaney was an Irish politician. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann in 1948 as a Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála (TD) representing Donegal East. Blaney served as Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (1957), Minister for Local Government (1957–1966) and Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries (1966–1970). He was Father of the Dáil from 1987 until his death.

Joan Theresa Burke was an Irish Fine Gael politician, farmer and nurse who served as a Teachta Dála (TD) from 1964 to 1981.

Michael Creed is an Irish Fine Gael politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Cork North-West constituency since 2007, and previously from 1989 to 2002. He previously served as Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine from 2016 to 2020.

Patrick Michael Kelly was an Irish soldier, farmer and politician. He was a member of the Irish Free State Oireachtas as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Clare constituency from 1927 to 1932.

Andrew Lavin was an Irish politician and farmer. He was elected unopposed as a Sinn Féin Teachta Dála (TD) to the 2nd Dáil at the 1921 elections for the Leitrim–Roscommon North constituency. He supported the Anglo-Irish Treaty and voted in favour of it. He was elected as a pro-Treaty Sinn Féin TD at the 1922 general election. He was elected as a Cumann na nGaedheal TD for Roscommon constituency at the 1923 general election. He lost his seat at the June 1927 general election.

Frank J. Lawless was an Irish revolutionary and politician who served as a Sinn Féin Teachta Dála (TD) for Dublin North from 1919 to 1922. He was a farmer at Saucerstown, Swords, County Dublin, and a member of a widely connected North County Dublin family identified with the National movement. He was an early member of Sinn Féin and of the Gaelic League. At the 1918 general election, he was elected as part of the Sinn Féin landslide, defeating the Nationalist J. J. Clancy who had sat for the Dublin County North seat since 1885, by 9,138 to 4,428.

James Reynolds is an Irish farmer, nationalist and far-right politician who has served as vice president of the National Party since 2016. Reynolds was active in farming politics, serving as chairman of the Longford branch of the Irish Farmers' Association (IFA) from 1999 to 2003 and subsequently as treasurer of the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers' Association (ICSA) until 2017. He co-founded the National Party with Justin Barrett in November 2016. He was an unsuccessful candidate for the party at the 2020 Irish general election, standing in the Longford-Westmeath constituency.
