Commonwealth Games: Melbourne 2006 Opening Ceremony, 2006 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony or Melbourne 2006, XVIII Commonwealth Games: Official Music from the Opening Ceremony, features music by Various Artists from the 2006 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. The ceremony took place on 15 March 2006 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the live album was released by Sony BMG Music Entertainment Australia on 19 March 2006. Performers included Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Church, the Cat Empire, Ursula Yovich and Delta Goodrem. The score was written by Christopher Gordon, and was commissioned by the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Committee. The performance was partly funded by the Australian Government's Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts.

Energy of Asia: Official Album of Asian Games 2018 is an official music album for the 2018 Asian Games by Indonesian musical artists, released on 13 July 2018 by the Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC), Recording Industry Association of Indonesia (ASIRI), and record label Jagonya Musik & Sport. The album was produced by Abdee Negara of Slank, involves several cross-genre musical artists that some of them collaborate. The album consists of 13 songs, available for purchase at KFC fast-food outlets in Indonesia and for streaming on YouTube and Spotify.

The Official Album of the 2002 FIFA World Cup is a compilation album with various artists, released in 2002 by Sony Music Entertainment Japan as the official album for the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea and Japan. The album spawned the single We're on the Ball by Ant & Dec. The album was also released under the name Fever Pitch: The Official Music of The 2002 FIFA World Cup, but without the "We're on the Ball" by Ant & Dec.

NFL Country is a compilation album released by the National Football League that featured country musicians performing songs with NFL stars. The album made it to 66 on the Top Country Albums and was released the same day as NFL Jams, an album with a similar concept but with hip hop music instead.

Parade of the Athletes is a retrospective mix by Dutch DJ Tiësto of his live set performed during the opening ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece on 13 August 2004. This was the first time that a DJ was asked to perform for a ceremony at the Olympics. Recognizing one of their own, the Dutch team came up to the booth while Tiësto was performing this set. All of the songs on this track are original songs composed by Tiësto except for "Adagio for Strings", which is his own remix of Samuel Barber's piece by the same name, and "Athena", which is also a remix of Adagio in G minor, a piece often attributed to Tomaso Albinoni, but actually composed by Remo Giazotto.

The closing ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics took place on February 28, 2010, beginning at 5:30 pm PST at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was the first Olympic Closing Ceremony held in an indoor venue since the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.
