SpaceX StarshipW
SpaceX Starship

The Starship system is a fully reusable, two‑stage‑to‑orbit super heavy‑lift launch vehicle under development by SpaceX. The system is composed of a booster stage named Super Heavy and a second stage, also called "Starship". Unusual for a traditional launch vehicle second stage, the Starship second stage is being designed to be a long‑duration cargo and passenger‑carrying spacecraft and lander.

SpaceX's Starship offshore platforms—Phobos and Deimos—are former deepwater oil drilling rigs currently undergoing modification to support launch and landing of SpaceX's next-generation launch vehicle, Starship. They are expected to enter service as floating spaceflight operations platforms in 2022.

Starship HLS

Starship HLS is a lunar lander variant of the Starship spacecraft in development by SpaceX since the mid-2010s. The HLS variant is being developed under a contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The initial contracted design work started in May 2020, with selection and funding for full-development occurring in April 2021, when Starship HLS was selected by NASA to take "the first woman and the next man to the Moon" as part of their Artemis program, potentially as early as 2024.
