
The Balkan Line is a 2019 Russian–Serbian action film directed by Andrey Volgin, depicting a secret operation to capture Slatina Airport in Kosovo after the bombing of Yugoslavia, led by Yunus-bek Yevkurov. These events became the most dangerous aggravation of relations between the Russians and the West since the Cuban Missile Crisis.

California Dreamin' (endless) is a 2007 Romanian film by Cristian Nemescu. It won the Prix un certain regard at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. It also picked up the Iris Award for Best Film, the Audience Award and the Canvas Award at the Brussels European Film Festival 2007. The film is also sometimes called Endless in English, nesfârșit being Romanian for "endless".

Guerreros is a 2002 Spanish film about a group of Spanish soldiers and their French allies stationed in the border between Kosovo and the rest of Serbia during a KFOR humanitarian deployment; it was nominated for two Goya Awards. The film follows the young and inexperienced soldiers as they become embroiled in the conflict that surrounds them and their struggle to survive.

The Hunted is a 2003 American action thriller film directed by William Friedkin and starring Tommy Lee Jones, Benicio del Toro, and Connie Nielsen.

Kosovo: Can You Imagine? is a 2009 documentary film directed by Serbian Canadian Boris Malagurski about the plight of Serb communities living in Kosovo at the time the documentary was filmed. Former Canadian general Lewis MacKenzie, former Canadian diplomat James Byron Bissett, former UNMIK officer John Hawthorne and economist Michel Chossudovsky appear in the film.

The Load is a 2018 Serbian war drama film directed by Ognjen Glavonić. It was selected to screen in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. It also won the Golden Pram Award for Best Feature Film at the 2018 Zagreb Film Festival.

Die Brücke am Ibar is a 2012 German film directed by Michaela Kezele, set in 1999 during the Kosovo War. The film stars Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian actors Zrinka Cvitešić, Mišel Matičević, Andrija Nikcevic, and Nebojša Đorđević. The film received a Special Mention, German Cinema New Talent Category at the Munich Film Festival - Bayerischer Filmpreis 2013 – Young Talent Award, Audience prize at the Biberach Film Festival 2012, the Audience Award at the Arras Film Festival and the Diploma for Best Film at the Pula Film Festival. It also won the Torch Award for best film at the 14th Pyongyang International Film Festival.

The Special Relationship is a 2010 British-American political film directed by Richard Loncraine from a screenplay by Peter Morgan. It is the third film in Morgan's informal "Blair trilogy", which dramatizes the political career of British Prime Minister Tony Blair (1997–2007), following The Deal (2003) and The Queen (2006), both directed by Stephen Frears.
