
La 72 Hogar-Refugio Para Personas Migrantes is a migrant shelter and human rights organization managed by the Franciscan Province "San Felipe de Jesús" in the town of Tenosique, Tabasco, on Mexico's southern border. Commonly referred to as 'La 72', the organization provides basic humanitarian aid, psicosocial support, and legal assistance and representation to thousands of migrants and refugees from Central America each year. The house is named "La 72" after the 72 victims of the San Fernando Massacre in 2010 in the northern Mexican state of Tamaulipas.

The Civil Association Amigos del Pandeño was created in 2008. It is a local non-profit conservation organization based in Julimes, Chihuahua, Mexico. Its mission is to conserve and protect the Natural Heritage of the people of Julimes, Chihuahua, with special emphasis on the micro-endemic aquatic fauna which distribution range is restricted to “El Pandeño” hotspring. Through its Technical Council, Amigos del Pandeño supports scientific research and a Vital Signs Monitoring Program that informs management decision making processes that are related to the natural resources of Julimes.

The Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue center located in Mexico. BJWT hosts big cats as well as dogs and other animals.
La Ciudad de las Ideas is an annual conference held in Puebla, Mexico, produced by Mexican writer and television producer Andrés Roemer. Its objective is to debate ideas in science, technology, art, design, politics, education, culture, business, entertainment and other areas of knowledge. The event was referred to as the "brain olympics" by cognitive scientist Daniel Dennett.

The Nest is an aviary located in Ixtapaluca, state of Mexico. Founded by veterinarian Jesús López Estudillo in the 1960s, it is a civil association created to preserve over 300 different species of birds, both Mexican and the rest of South America, Africa and Asia, mostly endangered. The association—formerly known as Wildlife —also has a space for breeding and conservation of the most endangered species.

The Fundación Teletón in Mexico is an annual 24-plus-hour TV and radio broadcast, started in 1996, to raise money for children's rehabilitation centers. The Mexican Teletón is produced by Televisa and more than 500 Mexican and foreign media; more than 100 commercial firms sponsor the event. Teleton's mission is "to provide knowledge about physical disabilities, giving a strong message about respect, equality and support to people in these conditions". Teletón is the world's largest private medical unit and rehabilitation center for children.
