Colonel Sir Joseph David Rodolphe Forget was a Canadian business investor, stockbroker, and politician. He held national directorships and had major investments in energy companies, as well as industrial concerns and railway companies in the Provinces of Quebec and Ontario. He was one of the few French Canadian business magnates of his time.

Hartland Brydges MacDougall was a Canadian ice hockey player and businessman. MacDougall was generally regarded as one of the most versatile players of the pre-NHL era of the sport. He initially played the position of goaltender but ended his career playing point. After hockey, he became a stockbroker and was one of the partners of MacDougall, MacDougall and MacTier, a prominent investment firm in Montreal. In 1976 he was made an honoured member of the Canada Sports Hall of Fame.

Eric "Sonja" Paul Nesterenko is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1951 until 1956 and for the Chicago Black Hawks from 1956 until 1972.

Gordon Scott Paterson, better known as G. Scott Paterson, is a Toronto-based technology and media venture capitalist. In the 1990s, Paterson gained notoriety in the Canadian investment and finance world and served as "a prominent technology and media financier" during the technology boom in the latter half of the decade. Paterson has been the recipient of Globe & Mail's "Top 40 Under 40 Award" and, in 2007, was recognized by Newsweek magazine as one of the 17 people in its "Who’s Next in 2007" article. An active philanthropist, Paterson co-founded Toronto's Merry Go Round Children's Foundation in 1997 and currently serves as its Chairman. Today, Paterson's business efforts are devoted between leadership roles at Engagement Labs Inc. and Lions Gate Entertainment Corporation.

John Edward "Jack" Purcell was a Canadian world champion badminton player. Purcell was the Canadian National Badminton Champion in 1929 and 1930 and declared as world champion in 1933. He retired in 1945, and pursued a career as a stockbroker. Purcell also designed an athletic shoe that bears his name, which is still popular today.
