
Kristoffer Aamot was a Norwegian journalist, magazine editor, politician and cinema administrator. As a young journalist he was sentenced to one year imprisonment for his writings in the newspaper Klassekampen. He was a member of the Oslo City Council from 1917 to 1937. He was a director of Oslo Kinematografer from 1934 to 1955, except for the war years. A film award was named after him.

Lars Fiske is a Norwegian comics writer and artist, and creator of picture books. He was born in Oslo and is married to illustrator and writer Anna Fiske.

Steffen Kverneland is a Norwegian illustrator and comics writer. He was born in Haugesund, and settled in Oslo from 1987. He has specialized on creating comics series based on classical literature. Among his early albums are De knyttede never from 1993 based on a novel by Øvre Richter Frich, and four volumes of Amputerte klassikere.

Otto Luihn was a Norwegian newspaper editor, magazine editor and poet.

Knut Nærum, is a Norwegian comedian, author, comics writer and TV-entertainer. He is best known for being one of the permanent panelists in the Norwegian show Nytt på nytt. On April 23, 2015, Nærum announced that he would step down from the show at the end of the season. Nærum grew up in Halden, but attended high school in Grimstad. He later studied at the Agder Regional College and currently lives in Oslo with his wife and two children.

Alf Gabriel Næsheim was a Norwegian painter and illustrator, mostly known for his architectural drawings from the city of Oslo, but also for being the first Norwegian artist that illustrated Disney comic book stories featuring Donald Duck.

Christopher Nielsen is a Norwegian comics artist. He is especially known for his subcultural depictions. Nielsen got his first comics printed in 1980 after entering a competition in the Norwegian anarchist magazine, Gateavisa. Only three years later he got his first album published. Generally he works in a rough and direct style, inspired by the American underground comix tradition.

Bjørn Ousland is a Norwegian illustrator, children's writer and comics writer. His breakthrough was the album series Solruns saga from 1988 to 1993. Among his later albums are Mumle Gåsegg from 1999, Soria Moria slott from 2000, and Grimsborken from 2002, all adapted from Norwegian fairy tales. He was awarded the Brage Prize in 2007, jointly with Jon Ewo.
