Cvijić holds an undergraduate degree in Law from the University of Belgrade's Law School (Serbia), an MA in International Relations and European Studies from the Central European University and a PhD from the Law Department of the European University Institute in Florence (Italy). He has published several academic articles and has held guest lectures at Bologna University and Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies in Florence.
