
All the Weird Kids Up Front is a compilation album by American rock band Spoon. It was released on August 29, 2020, for Record Store Day, through Matador Records. It is a companion piece to their 2019 greatest hits album Everything Hits at Once: The Best of Spoon, with a track listing submitted and voted on by fans. The compilation was announced on March 5, 2020. The album peaked at number 77 on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart.

The BBC Sessions is an album by Belle and Sebastian. It is a double album. The first disc is a compilation of unreleased recordings recorded between 1996 and 2001, while the second is a live recording from a concert in Belfast on 21 December 2001. The live album contains covers of "Here Comes the Sun", "I'm Waiting for the Man" and "The Boys are Back in Town".

Brighten the Corners is the fourth studio album by American indie rock band Pavement, released in 1997. All songs were written by lead singer Stephen Malkmus, apart from Scott Kannberg's "Date with Ikea" and "Passat Dream". After their last release, Wowee Zowee, Pavement’s drummer, Bob Nastanovich, said of this album, “We were going to go into people’s rooms and brighten their corners with music.”

Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain: LA's Desert Origins is a double album by Pavement released on October 26, 2004. It contains the band's second album, Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain (1994) in its entirety, as well as 37 of the band's other songs from that era, 25 of which were previously unreleased. The album also contains a 62-page booklet of liner notes, which contain photographs, artwork, accounts from vocalist/guitarist Stephen Malkmus and guitarist Scott Kannberg, and notes Malkmus wrote for Melody Maker about each of the songs on the original album. The liner notes also feature a surreal and sensationalistic "interview" between Matador's Gerard Cosloy and the fictitious "Rob Jurkface". According to Cosloy, he took questions by Pavement's biographer, Rob Jovanovic, changed them slightly, and wrote silly answers for them.

Everything Hits at Once: The Best of Spoon is a greatest hits compilation album by American rock band Spoon. It was released on July 26, 2019, through Matador Records. The compilation was announced on June 19, 2019, coinciding with the release of new single "No Bullets Spent."
Everything Is Nice: The Matador Records 10th Anniversary Anthology is a 3-disc compilation of Matador tracks from 1989 to 1999 from popular Matador artists such as Pavement, Modest Mouse, Mogwai and Cat Power. Also featuring relatively unknown artists such as Jega and Non Phixion. Alternate names for this compilation include: Don’t Be Afraid of the Product and Chain Gang Video Not Included. Included in the digipak release are 3 CDs and a booklet including the complete Matador discography as of 8/16/1999.

Genius + Love = Yo La Tengo is a 2-disc album by Yo La Tengo, consisting of rarities, alternate versions, and out-takes, spanning 1988 to 1995. The album was released on Matador in 1996; a Japanese version with two extra tracks appeared in 1998.

Made in USA is a compilation album by Japanese pop band Pizzicato Five. The album was released in the United States on October 11, 1994 by Matador Records, serving as the band's first full-length, and second overall, American release under the label. Along with the preceding Five by Five EP, it introduced Pizzicato Five to a Western audience.

Matador at Fifteen, a packaged release consisting of a CD of greatest hits, a CD of unreleased/rare tracks, and a DVD of its artists' music videos, was released by Matador Records on October 12, 2004, to celebrate the "15th Anniversary of contemporary rock's most self-congratulatory record label."

Quarantine the Past: The Best of Pavement is a compilation album released by Pavement on March 8, 2010 to coincide with the band's reunion. The title of the compilation references a lyric from the 1994 song "Gold Soundz", which is the first song featured on the compilation.

The album was released in the United States on October 31, 1995 by Matador Records, serving as the band's second full-length, and third overall, American release under the label. Following Made in USA, The Sound of Music by Pizzicato Five is Matador's second compilation of Pizzicato Five's previously released material.

Vols. 11 & 12 is the sixth compilation album by the desert rock supergroup Desert Sessions, a side project of Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. It is a compilation of the group's eleventh release, titled Arrivederci Despair and their twelfth release, titled Tightwads & Nitwits & Critics & Heels. It was released in October of 2019, the group's first release after a 16 year hiatus. The album features contributions by various rock artists including Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint, Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters, Mike Kerr of Royal Blood, Carla Azar of Autolux, Les Claypool of Primus, Matt Sweeney, Matt Berry, and Libby Grace.
