
Atlantis Lucid Dreaming is a compilation album released by the symphonic metal band Therion. Compilation contains tracks from A'arab Zaraq - Lucid Dreaming (1997) and Crowning of Atlantis (1999).

Celebrators of Becoming is a Therion box-set released on 5 May 2006. It contains 4 DVDs and 2 audio discs. It is available in two versions: The luxury digipak version in a slip case and the cheaper non-digipak version. Both versions contain all discs. Cover artwork was made by Thomas Ewerhard.

Decades is the seventh compilation album by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, and contains remastered versions of the original material. It was released on March 9, 2018, which is the same day that they began touring for the Decades: World Tour. The track listing is presented in reverse chronological order.

The Early Chapters of Revelation is a 3 CDs box-set released by Swedish heavy metal band Therion in 2000. Box-set contains remastered and rereleased first three albums of the official Therion's discography during their death metal era: Of Darkness..., Beyond Sanctorum and Symphony Masses: Ho Drakon Ho Megas. Title refers to Book of Revelation.

The Greater of Two Evils is an album by American thrash metal band Anthrax. The album was released in November 2004 via the Sanctuary record label. It is the last Anthrax release prior to the band's reunion with Joey Belladonna and guitarist Dan Spitz.

Historikill: 1995–2007 is a compact disc box set by the American thrash metal band Overkill, which was released on October 16, 2015. The originally planned release date was September 18, 2015. The box set spans the years from 1995 to 2007, including seven of the original seventeen Overkill albums from The Killing Kind (1996) to Immortalis (2007), two of their live albums, one of their compilation albums, the covers album Coverkill and a bonus disc featuring demos, remixes and one cover song. The albums are placed in chronological order, although Wrecking Everything was released three months before the Hello from the Gutter compilation album.

Intermission is a compilation album by power metal band Stratovarius, released on 26 June 2001 through Nuclear Blast. The album consists of covers, live and bonus tracks, as well as four new tracks. It charted in the top 100 in four countries.

Masterpieces is the second compilation album by Swedish power metal band HammerFall. It consists of cover versions recorded by the band, plus three new unreleased songs.

Metal is Forever, is the first best-of album released by the German power metal group Primal Fear.

Midnight in the Labyrinth is an "orchestral" compilation album by English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth. The re-recorded songs selected are from the band's first four releases. The title comes from the lyrics of "Mistress from the Sucking Pit", a bonus track on some editions of Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa.

Out of the Dark is a two disc compilation album from Nuclear Blast Records to commemorate their 20 years as a record label. Produced by Peter Wichers, who is also the only songwriter on the album, it features a variable collection of "All Stars" much in the same vein as Roadrunner United. The album includes 11 different singers, with Wichers playing bass and guitar, and drums by Dirk Verbeuren and Henry Ranta. It also includes a second disc which includes 10 songs from thrash metal, death metal and black metal bands signed to Nuclear Blast. While its "twin" album Into the Light focuses more on the power metal side of the label, Out of the Dark is rather devoted to the genre of melodic death metal.

Praise the Names of the Musical Assassins is a compilation album of "rare and unreleased material" by Austrian death metal band Pungent Stench. It was originally released in 1997 through Nuclear Blast, two years after the band had split-up. The album, "which collected all the rare and unreleased Pungent Stench material available," contains tracks from the band's early demo tapes, Mucous Secretion, and Extreme Deformity, which was released as the group's first EP in 1989. These "infamous" demos, along with a split-LP with Disharmonic Orchestra, caused a considerable amount of interest in the group, eventually leading them to sign a record deal with German label Nuclear Blast.

The Singles is a compilation album by German power metal band Edguy. It features all tracks from the EP's King Of Fools and Superheroes and single Lavatory Love Machine on one disc. The compilation was released on 17 November 2008, the same day as Edguy's eighth studio album, Tinnitus Sanctus.

Steel Meets Steel: Ten Years of Glory is the first compilation album by Swedish power metal group HammerFall, released on October 23, 2007.

Tomb Sculptures is a compilation album by the German symphonic black metal band Agathodaimon.

A Tribute to the Four Horsemen is a tribute album to Thrash metal band Metallica. It was re-issued by Nuclear Blast Records in 2003 with a slightly different track listing. The album title is in reference to "The Four Horsemen" from Kill 'Em All and contains covers of songs by Metallica from Kill 'Em All to ReLoad, but omits Load.

The Zodiac Sessions is the first compilation album by American doom metal band Orchid. It compiles remastered versions of both releases on their first record label, the Church Within: their first studio album, Capricorn, and their debut EP, Through the Devil's Doorway. The album was released on 18 November 2013 as a limited edition digipak, with new cover art by singer Theo Mindell.
