
Margarita Abella Caprile was an Argentine writer. Born in Buenos Aires, she was the daughter of Eduardo Abella and Margarita Caprile Mitre; and the great-granddaughter of General Bartolomé Mitre. She attended Colegio del Sagrado Corazon, Buenos Aires. Although she worked as a journalist and wrote travel books, novels, and short stories, she is known primarily as a poet. Since 1955, she replaced Eduardo Mallea as director of the literary supplement of the newspaper La Nación, where she worked until her death. Her contemporaries included Alfonsina Storni, Gabriela Mistral, Delmira Agustini, and Juana de Ibarbourou.

Nadia Fink is an Argentine author, journalist, and editor known for writing the works in the Anti-Princess Series of picture book biographies of Latin American women. After studying proofreading, she began working as a copyeditor at the magazine Sudestada and later began to write articles for the publication. An interest in countering what she perceived as harmful gender roles in children's literature led Fink to cofound the independent publisher Chirimbote and begin publishing the Anti-Princess Series in 2015. The series and its two companions the Anti-Hero Series and League of Anti-Princesses are distributed throughout Latin America and have been translated into several languages. Fink has also written other books for children and coedited volumes for adults about gender and feminism.

Patrícia Gabancho Ghielmetti was an Argentine-born Spanish author and journalist, writing in Catalan. She primarily focused her writings on culture, history, politics and urbanism, especially in regards to Barcelona and Catalan culture. She was an active member in the Catalan movement and a member of La Plataforma per la Llengua. In 2012, she was awarded the Prudenci Bertrana Prize for her novel La néta d'Adam.

Petrona Rosende (1797–1863) was the first female journalist in Argentina. She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, but during Montevideo's occupation by Brazil she moved to Buenos Aires. She edited the feminist Buenos Aires periodical La Aljaba. Its motto was "We will be free of men's injustice only when we no longer live among them." All of its 18 issues are now held at the Museo Mitre.

Magdalena Ruiz Guiñazú is an Argentine writer and journalist. She has worked in the National Commission on the Disappearance of Persons. She received many Martín Fierro Awards including the Golden Martín Fierro award in 1993.
