Flora Brovina is a Kosovar Albanian poet, pediatrician and women's rights activist. She was born in the town of Skenderaj in the Drenica Valley of Kosovo, and was raised in Prishtina, where she went to school and began studying medicine. After finishing her university studies in Zagreb, where she specialized in pediatrics, she returned to Kosovo and worked for a time as a journalist for the Albanian-language daily newspaper Rilindja. Soon thereafter, she returned to the health care profession and worked for many years in the Pediatrics Ward of the Pristina General Hospital.

He is a dissident who opposed the revocation of the autonomy of Kosovo from the Milosevic's regime, consequently being arrested and imprisoned. Radogoshi served as President of Writers' Union of Kosovo. In 2010 he settled in Canada.

Adem Zaplluzha

Adem Zaplluzha, one of the most prolific Kosovan Albanian poets was born in Prizren in 1943. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown and graduated from the School of Pedagogy at the University of Pristina. After that he worked as a teacher for a while in several villages near Prizren and then as a legal translator at the Kosovan Electricity Corporation after that until the end of his career. He started writing and publishing literature from his childhood with his first poem being published in 1957 in the Pionieri literary magazine. At the Kosovan Electricity Corporation he co-founded the literary club 'Kosovan Poppies' which later published some of his works most notably in the 'Ngjyra e Kohës' anthology. His works were published in a wide variety of literary and non-literary publications in Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia and Romania.
