
Evelyn Anite Kajik, commonly known as Evelyn Anite, is a Ugandan journalist and politician. She is the State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatization in the Ugandan Cabinet since 6 June 2016. Previously, she served as State Minister for Youth. She was appointed to that position on 1 March 2015, replacing Ronald Kibuule, who was appointed State Minister for Water Resources. She also serves as the elected Member of Parliament for Koboko Municipality, in the West Nile sub-region, in the Northern Region of Uganda, a position she has occupied since 2011.

Joy Doreen Biira is a Ugandan media personality with KTN News and DW. She is also a strategic and digital communications consultant, moderator, and speaker. She currently co-hosts a Pan-African and European environmental show called Eco@Africa on the Germany-based television station Deutsche Welle. The show is a partnership with TV stations Kenya Television Network and Channels TV in Nigeria.

After a stint presenting World News Today in August 2018, she became the main presenter at 7pm weekdays and 9pm weekends from September 2019 when she is not on assignment, as part of here 19:00-01:00GMT/BST, on BBC Four, BBC News Channel and BBC World News, and has presented In Business Africa since January 2019.

Jane Kasumba is a Ugandan media personality, a broadcaster, a lawyer, a communications expert and a professional sportscaster who has worked for over 12 years in public and broadcast media. She most recently served as the UBC TV Manager Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC).

Andrew Mwenda is a Ugandan print, radio and television journalist, and the founder and owner of The Independent, a current affairs newsmagazine. He was previously the political editor of The Daily Monitor, a Ugandan daily newspaper, and was the presenter of Andrew Mwenda Live on KFM Radio in Kampala, Uganda's capital city.

Rukh-Shana Namuyimba is a Ugandan communications specialist. She is a news anchor, and a co-founder of Xfinity Communications Ltd. She initially worked as news anchor at NTV Uganda, before moving to NBS Television.

Sheila Kawamara-Mishambi is a Ugandan journalist and executive director of the Eastern African Sub-Regional Support Initiative for the Advancement of Women (EASSI) and former Legislator in the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA). She originally became known for covering the Rwandan Genocide in 1994 and is now known for her feminist activism and work on human rights and conflict resolution.

Solomon Serwanjja is a Ugandan investigative journalist and news anchor with NBSTV. In 2019 Serwanjja was awarded the Komla Dumor Award, an annual award given by the BBC to celebrate African journalists.
