
The Babin Republic, was a satirical, literary and carnival society founded in 1568 in Babin, Lublin county, Poland by Stanisław Pszonka and Piotr Kaszowski. Its Latin motto was: Omnis Homo Mendax.

Borowe is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sorkwity, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. The Council of Four Lands in Lublin, Poland was the central body of Jewish authority in Poland from the second half of the 16th century to 1764. The first known regulation for the Council is dated by 1580.). Seventy delegates from local kehillot met to discuss taxation and other issues important to the Jewish community. The "four lands" were Greater Poland, Little Poland, Galicia and Volhynia. The earliest form of the Council was organized in 1514 by Sigismund I the Old and Abraham of Bohemia was put in charge of it.

Radomyśl nad Sanem is a village in Stalowa Wola County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Radomyśl nad Sanem. It lies on the San river in Lesser Poland, approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north-west of Stalowa Wola and 73 km (45 mi) north of the regional capital Rzeszów. The village has a population of 893. Radomyśl was a town from 1558 to 1935.

Sejny is a town in north-eastern Poland and the capital of Sejny County, in Podlaskie Voivodeship, close to the northern border with Lithuania and Belarus. Sigismund's Chapel is a royal chapel of the Wawel Cathedral in Kraków, Poland, and a masterpiece of Polish architecture. Built as a funerary chapel for the last members of the Jagiellonian Dynasty, it has been hailed by many art historians as "the most beautiful example of the Tuscan Renaissance north of the Alps". Financed by King Sigismund I the Old, it was built in 1519-33 by Italian architect Bartolomeo Berrecci.

The Zamoyski Academy 1594–1784) was an academy founded in 1594 by Polish Crown Chancellor Jan Zamoyski. It was the third institution of higher education to be founded in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. After his death it slowly lost its importance, and in 1784 it was downgraded to a lyceum. The present-day I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Hetmana Jana Zamoyskiego w Zamościu is one of several secondary schools in Zamość.
