Asafia school, located near Malakpet in Hyderabad, was built in 1895 by Afsar ud Dowla, during the Nizam regime. A well-known architect of the Nizam period, Abdul Karim Babu Khan, worked on this building. The school was inaugurated by Kishan Parsad, Deputy Minister of Hyderabad state. The building was abandoned in 1963 and the school shifted to a new location.

The Daly College is a co-educational residential and day boarding school located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was founded by Sir Henry Daly of the British Indian Army during India's colonial British Raj, following an English public school model. The school started in 1870 as the Residency School. It was then renamed as the East Rajkumar College in 1876, and in 1882, it came to be known as The Daly College. It was established by the Resident Governor of the erstwhile Presidency, to educate the children of the royalty, nobility and aristocracy of Central Indian Princely States of the 'Marathas', 'Rajputs', 'Mohameddans' and 'Bundelas'. It is one of the oldest co-educational boarding schools in the world.

Nripendra Narayan Memorial High School is the oldest educational institution in Tufanganj subdivision. It is at the center of the town and is of historical importance regarding education in pre-independent India. The school was established in 1916 by Maharaja Jitendra Narayan, the Maharaja of Cooch Behar and is named after the late Maharaja Nripendra Narayan.
