
Major Muhammad Akram NH, was a military officer in the Pakistan Army who was cited with the Nishan-e-Haider posthumously after the military confrontation took place in railway station in Hilli, East-Pakistan.

Samad Ali Changezi was a Flight lieutenant in Pakistan Air Force who fought in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Samad Ali belonged to the Hazara ethnic minority of Quetta, Pakistan. He was also one of the members of the No. 9 Squadron, the Pakistan Air Force's first fighter squadron.

Naik Saif Ali Janjua, Pakistan Army Azad Kashmir Regiment, was a platoon commander during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947. He received the Hilal-e-Kashmir from the government of Azad Kashmir, which is equal to Nishan-e-Haider, the highest military award given by Pakistan, and now declared as Nishan-e-Haider. He fought in the Kashmir sector during the 1948 War and was killed during the siege of Bhudha Khanna.

Commander Zafar Muhammad Khan was a naval officer in the Pakistan Navy who was the Captain and Commanding Officer of PNS Ghazi during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The PNS Ghazi was sunk under mysterious circumstances while on a reconnaissance mine-laying mission in the approaches to the Indian port of Vishakapatnum and sank at about 00:10 hours. A total of 93 men, including 11 commissioned officers, and 82 non-commissioned officers lost their lives. In 1971, he was one the officer naval officers who were posthumously awarded Hilal-i-Jur'at for their actions.

Major Tufail Mohammad Shaheed, NH, was a military officer in the Pakistan Army and the second military officer in the Pakistani military who was cited with the Nishan-e-Haider for his "distinguished actions of valor other than bravery" in the Indo-Pakistani wars along the Indo-East Pakistani border in 1957–58.

Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas(Urdu: راشد منہاسb. 17 February 1951 – 20 August 1971) NH, was a military officer in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). Minhas was the only PAF officer to receive the highest valour award, the Nishan-e-Haider. He was also the youngest person and the shortest-serving officer to have received this award. During the routine training mission in August 1971, P/Off. Minhas attempted to gain control of his jet trainer when his commanding officer Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman was trying to defect to India to join Liberation war of Bangladesh and deliberately commandeer his plane that crashed near the Thatta District, Sindh in Pakistan.

Squadron Leader Muhammad Nasir Dar - Sitara-e-Basalat - was a decorated officer of the Pakistan Air Force who died in the line of duty during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

Squadron Leader Sarfaraz Ahmed Rafiqui was a fighter pilot in the Pakistan Air Force. He was known for bravery and courage in two of the aerial combats Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, and is a recipient of both the Hilal-e-Jurat and the Sitara-e-Jurat.

Captain Raja Muhammad Sarwar Bhatti NH, BS, best known as Muhammad Sarwar, was a military officer in the Pakistan Army who was cited with the first Nishan-i-Haider for his gallant and actions of valor during the first war between India and Pakistan in 1947–48.

Karnal Sher Khan (1970–1999) was a Pakistan Army officer. He was one of only eleven recipients of the Nishan-e-Haider. He was a captain in the 27th Sindh Regiment of the Pakistan Army and later was posted to 12th NLI Regiment during the Kargil Conflict. He was killed in action during the Kargil war. For his bravery during the Kargil war, he was awarded Nishan-e-Haider, which is Pakistan's highest military gallantry award. His name is the localised form of the rank Colonel.
