
Chen Chen-hsiang is a Taiwanese politician and a retired army general. He served as the Army Commander-in-chief before retirement, and elected into the Eighth Legislative Yuan from 2012 to 2016 and has been the Vice Chairperson of Kuomintang (KMT) since 23 November 2016.

Chiang Wei-kuo was an adopted son of Republic of China President Chiang Kai-shek, adoptive brother of President Chiang Ching-kuo, retired Army general, and an important figure in the Kuomintang. His courtesy names were Jian'gao (建鎬) and Niantang (念堂).

He was the Chief of General Staff of the Republic of China Armed Forces from 1 December 2016 to 28 April 2017, and is a former Vice Minister of National Defense for Armaments.

Hau Pei-tsun was a Taiwanese politician who was the Premier of the Republic of China (ROC) from 1 June 1990 to 27 February 1993, and the longest-serving Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of China Armed Forces from 1 December 1981 to 4 December 1989. On 6 July 2017, Hau attended an academic meeting in Nanjing about the history of the Second Sino-Japanese War, making him the first former ROC premier to visit Mainland China since the end of the Chinese Civil War in 1949. He turned 100 in August 2019.

Huang Xing or Huang Hsing was a Chinese revolutionary leader and politician, and the first commander-in-chief of the Republic of China. As one of the founders of the Kuomintang (KMT) and the Republic of China, his position was second only to Sun Yat-sen. Together they were known as Sun-Huang during the Xinhai Revolution. He was also known as the "Eight Fingered General" because of wounds sustained during war. His tomb is on Mount Yuelu, in Changsha, Hunan, China.

He is the incumbent Ambassador to Denmark, and was formerly the 4th Commanding General of the Republic of China Army (ROCA), 8th Deputy Minister of National Defense (MND), the 15th Director-General of the National Security Bureau (NSB) and the 2nd Minister of the Veterans Affairs Council (VAC).

Mao Bangchu or Mow Pang Tzu was a high-ranking military officer in the Chinese Chiang Kai-shek government. He was previously the Secretary-General of National Security Council. He was the Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of China Armed Forces from 30 January 2015 until 1 December 2016. He was the Vice Minister for Armaments of the National Defense Ministry (MND) from 9 August 2013 until 15 January 2014.

Zhang Haipeng (1867–1949), was a Chinese Northeastern Army general, who went over to the Japanese during the Invasion of Manchuria and became a general in the Manchukuo Imperial Army of the State of Manchuria.

Zhang Xuezhong was a Kuomintang general who commanded a division in the important Battle of Taierzhuang. He also worked in the Taiwanese Ministry of National Defence later in his career.

Zhao Shangzhi was a Chinese military commander. Born in Chaoyang, Liaoning, he participated in the May Thirtieth Movement in 1925, and joined the Communist Party of China in the same year. In November 1925, he went to study in the Whampoa Military Academy in Guangzhou.
