
The 1st Severia Tank Brigade is an armored formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The Brigade is located in Honcharivske.

The 10th Mountain Assault Brigade is a mountain warfare brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. It is part of Operational Command West and is based in Kolomyia. Formed in late 2015, the brigade fought in the War in Donbass between May and November 2016, defending positions around Marinka. It again deployed to the Donbass in September 2017, defending positions around Popasna.

The 14th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. It was formed in December 2014 from elements of the disbanded 51st Mechanized Brigade and newly mobilized units. It is part of Operational Command West and based in Volodymyr-Volynskyi.

The 17th Tank Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The full name of the Brigade is the 17th Separate Kryvyi Rih Tank Brigade. It was formerly known as 17th Guards Tank Division. The Brigade is located in Kryvyi Rih.

The 56th Motorized Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The brigade was activated on 23 February 2015 in the city of Dnipro in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and took command of three volunteer territorial defence battalions. The brigade fought in the War in Donbass and has functioned as a motorized brigade. In June of 2019, it was announced the 56th Motorized Brigade will be transferred to the Ukrainian Naval Infantry and remain based in Mariupol as part of the effort to increase the size of Ukrainian Marine Corps to 4 brigades.

The 57th Motorized Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The brigade was formed beginning in November 2014 in the city of Kropyvnytskyi in Kirovohrad Oblast. Initially the brigade consisted of three volunteer territorial defence battalions. Already by summer 2015 the brigade deployed to fight in the War in Donbass. The ground forces plan to mechanize the brigade in the future.

The 58th Independent Motorized Infantry Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The brigade was activated on 17 February 2015 in the city of Sumy in Sumy Oblast and took command of three volunteer territorial defence battalions. The brigade fought nine months in Eastern Ukraine until it was garrisoned back in Konotop April 1st, 2018.

The 59th Motorized Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The brigade was activated on 8 December 2014 in the city of Haisyn in Vinnytsia Oblast and took command of three volunteer territorial defence battalions. On 24 August 2015, Ukraine's Independence Day, the brigade received its flag and became fully operational. The brigade fought in the War in Donbass and will become a mechanized formation in the future.

The 72nd Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. It was previously named the 29th Rifle Division and then the 72nd Guards Rifle Division of the Soviet Ground Forces. In 1957, it became a motor rifle division.

The 92nd Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The full name of the Brigade is the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit was formed in 1999 as the 6th Mechanized Division based on the 6th Division of the National Guard of Ukraine. In 2000 it was reorganized as the 92nd Mechanized Brigade. Following the 2014 Russian aggression against Ukraine and the 2015 decommunization in Ukraine, the brigade's Soviet honors and heritage were purged.

The 93rd Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The full name of the Brigade is the 93rd Independent Kholodnyi Yar Mechanized Brigade.

The 128th Mountain Assault Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

The Georgian National Legion is a paramilitary unit formed by ethnic Georgian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine in the War in Donbass. The unit was organized in 2014 with the declared aim "to stand up to Russian aggression". The group is commanded by Mamuka Mamulashvili, a veteran Georgian officer.
