The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) is the naval branch of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), responsible for the defence of Singapore against sea-borne threats and protection of its sea lines of communications. Operating within the crowded littoral waters of the Singapore Strait, the RSN is widely regarded as one of the most highly sophisticated and well trained in the region. It conducts regular operations with the Royal Malaysian Navy and Indonesian Navy to combat piracy and terrorist threats. To provide air surveillance of the seaward approaches to Singapore, the RSN also jointly operates maritime patrol aircraft with its counterparts from the RSAF to ensure the security of one of the busiest sealanes in the world.

Brani Naval Base was a former naval facility of the Republic of Singapore Navy, which has since relocated to Changi Naval Base and Tuas Naval Base. The Singapore Police Force's Police Coast Guard Headquarters is now located at the old navy premises.

Changi Naval Base (CNB), officially known as RSS Singapura - Changi Naval Base, is a naval base of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). Located about 1.5 kilometres east of Changi Air Base (East) and 3.5 kilometres east of Singapore Changi Airport, the base was built on 1.28 km² (0.50 sq mi) of reclaimed land. It was officially opened on 21 May 2004 by the then Prime Minister of Singapore, Goh Chok Tong. A Navy Museum was opened at the entrance of the base in 2012.

RSS Courageous was a Fearless-class patrol vessel of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). The ship was commissioned in 1996. She was involved in a collision on 3 January 2003 with a merchant vessel ANL Indonesia off Horsburgh Lighthouse which resulted in the death of four RSN sailors.

The Endurance-class tank landing ships (LST) are the largest class of ships in the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). They were designed and built by Singapore Technologies (ST) Marine to replace the old County-class tank landing ships (LST). The four ships form the 191 Squadron of the RSN.

RSS Formidable (68) is the lead ship of the Formidable-class stealth frigate of the Republic of Singapore Navy.

The Naval Diving Unit (NDU) is the maritime special forces unit of the Republic of Singapore Navy, and is a component of the Special Operations Task Force of the Singapore Armed Forces. The unit is regularly tasked with salvage operations, underwater ordnance disposal, marine commando, and frogman warfare. It serves as the naval counterpart to the Singapore Armed Forces Commando Formation.

Tuas Naval Base (TNB) is the second naval base in the history of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). Located at the western tip of Singapore, it occupies 0.28 km² (0.11 sq mi) of land. It was officially opened on 2 September 1994 by Goh Chok Tong, the second prime minister of Singapore.

HSwMS Västergötland (Vgd), is named after Västergötland, Sweden. She is the lead ship of the Västergötland-class submarine.

Wakataka was the third and final vessel in the Hatsutaka-class of medium-sized minelayers of the Imperial Japanese Navy, which was in service during World War II. She was designed as an improved version of Shirataka netlayer. However, during the Pacific War, due to the critical shortage of patrol ships for convoy escort duties, she was fitted with depth charge racks and her minelaying rails were removed.

USS Whippoorwill (AMS/MSC-207) was a Bluebird-class minesweeper acquired by the US Navy for clearing coastal minefields.
