Russian deep submergence rescue vehicle AS-28

AS-28 is a Priz-class deep-submergence rescue vehicle of the Russian Navy, which entered service in 1986. It was designed for submarine rescue operations by the Lazurit Design Bureau in Nizhny Novgorod. It is 13.5 m (44 ft) long, 5.7 m (19 ft) high, and can operate up to a depth of 1,000 m (3,300 ft).

Russian submarine B-871 Alrosa is an diesel-electric Kilo-class submarine that joined the Soviet Fleet in 1990 and was active with the Russian Black Sea Fleet as of 2011. In 2018, it was reported that the submarine would be transferred to the Baltic Fleet. However, such a transfer had not occurred as of 2020. If the submarine is still active, it is now the only traditional Kilo-class boat remaining with the Black Sea Fleet with all other traditional Kilos in the Fleet having been replaced by the more modern "Improved Kilo" variant.

ORP Bielik (295) – former submarine of the Polish navy, of the class Whiskey. It was one of the four Whiskey-class submarines operated by the Polish Navy, the other three being ORP Orzeł (292), ORP Sokół (293) and ORP Kondor (294). The submarine was launched in the Soviet Union in 1955 where it served as S-279. In 1965 the ship entered Polish service where it served under the pennant number 295, and was active until 1988.

ORP Orzeł a Polish Navy submarine of the Project 613 (Whiskey-class). She was built in the Soviet Union as S-265 and was commissioned by the Polish Navy in 1962. She served under the pennant number 292 and was decommissioned in 1983. It was one of the four Whiskey-class submarines operated by the Polish Navy, the other three being ORP Sokół (293), ORP Kondor (294) and ORP Bielik (295).
