The Gizmondo was a handheld game console that was developed and sold by Tiger Telematics. Due to Gizmondo's failure, only 14 games were released. The Gizmondo was launched on March 19, 2005 in Europe. In North America the Gizmondo launched on October 22, 2005. The Gizmondo's sales were poor, with fewer than 25,000 units sold. By February 2006 it was discontinued when Tiger Telematics, the manufacturer of Gizmondo, was forced into bankruptcy. Because of this every game released in North America was a launch title, and all other games in development were never released.

Alien Hominid is an independently developed run and gun video game developed by The Behemoth. The game was developed from an Adobe Flash game originally released on Newgrounds in August 2002. O3 Entertainment released the game for PlayStation 2 and GameCube in North America in 2004, whilst ZOO Digital Publishing released the game in Europe for PlayStation 2, Xbox, mobile phones and Gizmondo in 2005. A port for the Game Boy Advance, co-developed by Tuna Technologies, was also released in Europe in 2006. A high-definition version titled Alien Hominid HD was released for Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Arcade service on February 28, 2007. A re-imagination, Alien Hominid Invasion, is in development for Windows, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

FIFA Football 2005, also known as FIFA Soccer 2005 in North America, FIFA 2005 or simply FIFA 05, is a football video game released in 2004. It was developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Microsoft Windows, Xbox, PlayStation Portable, GameCube, mobile phone, Gizmondo, N-Gage and the Game Boy Advance. The tagline for the game was: "A great player needs a great first touch." FIFA 2005 is the twelfth game in the FIFA series, the ninth in 3D and the final game in the series for the PlayStation. FIFA Football 2005 marks the first time to include the seventh-generation handheld game consoles. The Japanese version of the game went by the name of FIFA Total Football 2 and was released on December 9, 2004. FIFA Football 2005 is the last licensed game to be released for the PlayStation in North America.

It is the third installment in the SSX series. On April 17, 2018, it was made playable on Xbox One systems via backwards compatibility.
