It has been released on various platforms, from early systems to modern consoles, as well as handheld devices such as mobile phones. The franchise has expanded into other media, including comic books, an animated television series, and several spin-off video games.

Contra is a run-and-gun shooter video game developed and published by Konami, originally developed as a coin-operated arcade game in 1986 and released on February 20, 1987. A home version was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988, along with ports for various home computer formats, including the MSX2. The arcade and computer versions were localized as Gryzor in Europe, and the NES version as Probotector in PAL regions.

It is the second Deluxe Pack release following Gokujō Parodius Da! Deluxe Pack, which included both Parodius Da! and Gokujo Parodius. Part of the TwinBee series, it includes the original arcade versions of both Detana!! TwinBee and TwinBee Yahho!. In both games, players assume the role of Light and Pastel taking control of TwinBee and WinBee to defeat invading forces of the evil alien Iva and Archduke Nonsense to save planet Meru and the Land of Wonders island after receiving an SOS message sent by princess Melora and Queen Melody.

Genso Suikoden I & II is a re-release of the PlayStation role-playing video games Suikoden and Suikoden II, ported to the PlayStation Portable. Konami announced the game in the fourth quarter of 2005, and the compilation was released on February 23, 2006. Both games are combined in one Universal Media Disc (UMD), in which the player can choose which Suikoden game they want to play, as well as a third choice which is "Gallery" (ギャラリー).

Traveling between various locations, the player eliminates his adversaries with a high-power sniper rifle. Rewards are given for accuracy and speed, while players are punished for killing civilians or failing to complete a mission within the allotted time.
