
Amolops mantzorum, commonly known as the Sichuan torrent frog or Kangting sucker frog, is a species of frog in the family Ranidae. It is found in Gansu, Sichuan, and Yunnan Provinces of China. It has recently been reported also from Bhutan.

It is known from a few lowland localities in Borneo, Sumatra (Indonesia), and Peninsular Malaysia; it is reported as common in lowland Malaysian Borneo. Its presence in Peninsular Malaysia is uncertain. Its common names are brown slender toad, Matang stream toad, and cricket-voiced toad.

Dendropsophus minutus is a species of frog in the family Hylidae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela. In Spanish it is known as ranita amarilla común.

Engystomops petersi is a species of frog in the family Leptodactylidae. It is found in Amazonian Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It is morphologically similar to its sibling species, Engystomops freibergi, and for a period the latter was considered to be a junior synonym of Engystomops petersi. There are records from the Guianas that have not yet been allocated to either species. Divergence of these two species seems to have been driven by behavioural isolation related to male call characteristics more than geographic isolation.

"Hylarana" celebensis is a species of true frog in the family Ranidae. It is native to Sulawesi (Celebes), Indonesia. It is a lowland forest species, also occurring disturbed habitats.

Hylarana signata, commonly known as the striped stream frog, spotted stream frog, or Matang frog, is a species of true frog in the genus Hylarana. It is native to the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, and Borneo. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, and rivers. It is not currently considered threatened by the IUCN.

Leptolalax gracilis is a frog species in the family Megophryidae. It is endemic to northern Borneo: Brunei, Kalimantan (Indonesia), and Sarawak (Malaysia). Earlier record from the Malay Peninsula and Thailand refer to other species. Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland forests, moist montane forests, and rivers. It is becoming rare due to habitat loss.

Mantella madagascariensis, common names Malagasy painted mantella, Madagascan mantella, Madagascar golden frog, Malagasy mantella and painted mantella, is a species of frog in the family Mantellidae.

Meristogenys jerboa is a species of frog in the family Ranidae. It is endemic to western Sarawak in Borneo. Common names western torrent frog, Matang torrent frog, and Gunther's Borneo frog have been coined for it. Many cryptic species have been separated from this species. Based on mitochondrial DNA, current "true" Meristogenys jerboa still includes two major lineages. However, because the lineages occur in sympatry and do not differ in morphology, Shimada and colleagues elected to treat them as intraspecific variants.

Nanorana vicina is a species of frog in the family Dicroglossidae. It is found in the Himalayan front of northern India and Pakistan. Its natural habitats are high-altitude rivers, springs, and other running water in open forest and grassland habitats. There seem not to be any major threats to this species.

Oreobates quixensis is a frog species in the family Craugastoridae. It is found in the upper Amazon Basin in Bolivia, western Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It is a very common terrestrial frog of primary and secondary tropical moist forest, also to be found in clearings, open areas and banana groves.

Physalaemus henselii is a species of frog in the family Leptodactylidae. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, intermittent freshwater marshes, pastureland, rural gardens, and urban areas. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Proceratophrys bigibbosa is a species of frog in the family Odontophrynidae. It is found in the Misiones Province in the northeastern Argentina and in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina in southern Brazil; its range might extend into the adjacent Paraguay. Common names Peters' smooth horned frog and Cristina's smooth horned frog have been coined for it.

The Asiatic grass frog or Chinese brown frog is a species of frog in the family Ranidae, found in China and Mongolia.

Uperodon variegatus, also known as the Eluru dot frog, termite nest frog, variable ramanella, variagated ramanella, white-bellied pug snout frog, or variagated globular frog, is a species of narrow-mouthed frog that is endemic to India. Earlier records from Sri Lanka refer to what is now known as Uperodon rohani. They are seen mostly in the monsoon season when they may enter homes. They are small in size and the variegated markings and the genus characteristic of having pads on the fingertips but not on their toes make them easy to identify.
