WThe Baishanzu horned toad is a species of amphibian found in Baishanzu National Park in Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in Zhejiang Baishanzu National Park at an altitude of 1400–1600 meters of mountain streams. On January 19, 2021, the press office of the Lishui Municipal Government held a press conference to announce the discovery of new amphibian species in the city.
WGracixalus trieng, also known as the Trieng tree frog or Trieng bushfrog, is a species of frog in the family Rhacophoridae. It is endemic to Vietnam and is only known from the area of its type locality, Ngoc Linh Nature Reserve in Đắk Glei District, Kon Tum Province. Mount Ngoc Linh and adjacent peaks form an isolated high-elevation area and the species is unlikely to exist elsewhere.
WLeptobrachella suiyangensis, also known as Suiyang leaf-litter toad, is a species of frog in the family Megophryidae. It is endemic to Guizhou province in southern China and so far only known from Huoqiuba Nature Reserve, its type locality in the eponymous Suiyang County.
WOreolalax longmenmontis is a species of frog in the family Megophryidae. It is endemic to Sichuan, China, and is only known from its type locality in the White River National Nature Reserve, Pengzhou City. The type locality is in the central part of the Longmen Mountains. Accordingly, common name Longmen Mountains toothed toad has been proposed for this species.
WRentapia flavomaculata, also known as the yellow-spotted tree toad, is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae. It is endemic to the Malay Peninsula. Before being described as a distinct species in 2020, it was confused with Rentapia hosii.
WRhombophryne ellae is a species of frog in the family Microhylidae. It is endemic to Montagne d'Ambre National Park in the northern Madagascar. The species was discovered soon after it was possibly forced out of its habitat by Cyclone Ava.
WWalkerana muduga, also known as the Muduga mountain leaping frog or Muduga leaping frog, is a species of frog in the family Ranixalidae. It is endemic to the Western Ghats of India and known from the Elivai Malai range, north of the Palghat Gap in Tamil Nadu. All other known species of Walkerana occur south of the Palghat Gap, and molecular data suggest that Walkerana muduga is deeply divergent from the more southern species. However, there is another, as yet undescribed lineage from north of the Palghat Gap that is known from a single, poorly preserve specimen.
WZhangixalus jodiae, also known as Jodi's treefrog, is a species of frog in the family Rhacophoridae. It is named in honour of Jodi Rowley, Australian herpetologist, for her "great contribution to amphibian taxonomy in Asia". Zhangixalus jodiae is endemic to northeastern Vietnam and is only known from the vicinity of its type locality in Quản Bạ District, Hà Giang Province. It belongs to a clade of Zhangixalus inhabiting karst forests of southern China and northern Vietnam.
