Its natural habitats are temperate forests, subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, temperate grassland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, arable land, pastureland, plantations, rural gardens, urban areas, and introduced vegetation. It is threatened by habitat loss.
