Arutanga is the main town of the island of Aitutaki in the Cook Islands.

Avarua is a town and district in the north of the island of Rarotonga, and is the national capital of the Cook Islands.

Avatiu is a settlement on Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. It is located on the north coast to the west of the capital Avarua and is the location of Rarotonga's main port.

Loto is one of three villages on the island of Wale in the Pukapuka atoll of the Cook Islands. It is the central village and regulates Motu Uta, the major food-production area on Wale.

Ngake is one of three villages on the island of Wale in the Pukapuka atoll of the Cook Islands. It is the easternmost village and regulates the island of Motu Kō.

Nikao is a village settlement on Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. It is located on the north coast to the west of the capital Avarua.

Omoka is the larger of the two main settlements on Penrhyn Atoll in the Cook Islands. It is the location of the Penrhyn island Council, and is located on Moananui Islet in the far west of Penrhyn Atoll.

Tauhunu is both the main village on Manihiki atoll in the Cook Islands and the islet on which it is located. The village is the seat of the Manihiki Island Council. Tauhunu Islet is on the western rim of the atoll.

Te Tautua is the smaller of the two main settlements on Penrhyn Atoll in the Cook Islands. It is located on Pokerekere Islet.

Tukao is a village on Manihiki atoll in the Cook Islands. The village is at the northern tip of the islet of Ngake, which runs along the northern-eastern side of the atoll.

Yato is one of three villages on the island of Wale in the Pukapuka atoll of the Cook Islands. It is the westernmost village and regulates the island of Motu Kotawa and the sand cay of Toka.
