
Ålkistan is the name of a canal, and the surrounding area, north of Stockholm, Sweden. The canal connects Lilla Värtan to Lake Brunnsviken, and delimits Bergshamra, the northern part of Solna, from the northern part of Djurgården.
Barnhusviken is a body of water in central Stockholm, Sweden. Separating the island Kungsholmen from the mainland district Norrmalm north of it, it connects Karlbergssjön to Klara Sjö.

Dalsland Canal is a Swedish canal which enables ships to sail between Lake Vänern and central parts of the Dalsland and southwestern Värmland lake districts. The canal runs across the well-known aqueduct at Håverud and is a much visited tourist attraction during the summer months, drawing yachts, motor boats as well as canoeists.

Draget Canal is a Swedish canal in the municipality of Nynäshamn, county of Stockholm and province of Södermanland. Together with other natural channels, it provides a route between the ports of Nynäshamn and Södertälje avoiding the requirement to pass offshore of Landsort, although today it is only used by leisure craft.

Falsterbo Canal is a short canal that allows ships to pass inside Falsterbo, Skanör and Ljunghusen from the Baltic to the Öresund. Falsterbo, Skanör and Ljunghusen lie on the Skanör-Falsterbo peninsula.

The Muskö Canal is an artificial canal that divides the island of Muskö into western and eastern halves, linking Mysingen to the south with Horsfjärden to the north. The canal itself is 350 metres (1,150 ft) in length, and with its approaches has a total length of about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi). It has a depth of 1.7 metres, a bottom width of 3 metres (9.8 ft), a width at water level of 8 metres (26 ft), and a navigation clearance of 3 metres (9.8 ft) above water level.

The Södertälje Canal is a canal connecting the lake Mälaren with the Baltic Sea, at the city of Södertälje. It is 5.2 km long, and it has one lock. The size of this lock is the largest in Scandinavia by allowed ship size. The lock is 135 m long and 17 m wide. The water level difference between Mälaren and the Baltic Sea is not large, on average 0.6 m (2 ft). This is the main shipping route into the lake Mälaren.

The Strömma Canal is a short canal located near Strömma, on Värmdö island, Stockholm County, part of Värmdö Municipality in Sweden.

The Strömsholm Canal runs from Smedjebacken to Lake Mälaren near Strömsholm. It is 62 miles (100 km) long with 26 locks, and consists of a string of lakes connected by short manmade cuts.

The Trollhätte Canal is a canal in Sweden. Trollhätte Canal connects the Göta river with the lake Vänern. The canal was opened in 1800. Since 2004, the canal proclaimed a national monument.

The Väddö Canal is an artificial canal first dug in the 16th century to provide a sheltered passage between the Bagghusfjärden to the south and the Väddöviken to the north. The canal separates the island of Väddö from the mainland, and passes through the village of Älmsta at its northern end, and the lake of Storfjärden towards its middle.
