30 Lists of constituencies

This is a list of 300 parliamentary constituencies currently represented in the Jatiya Sangsad, the unicameral national legislature of Bangladesh. Each constituency is represented by a single Member of Parliament. The Jatiya Sangsad of Bangladesh consists of 350 seats, of which 50 seats are reserved for women, who are elected by the 300 directly elected members on the basis of procedure of proportional representation in the Parliament through single transferable vote.

This is a list of the 30 constituencies currently represented in the Parliament of Barbados, as at the February 2013 general election. From 1971, each constituency has been represented by a single Member of Parliament (MP). The number of seats were increased from 28 to 30 just ahead of the 2003 elections.

Botswana is divided into fifty-seven parliamentary constituencies.

Bulgaria is divided into 31 multi-member constituencies for the purposes of elections to the National Assembly.

This is a list of electoral constituencies returning Members of Parliament to the Parliament of Greece. The list reflects the changes which were made to Athens B and Attica in December 2018. Electoral constituencies account for 288 of the 300 parliamentary seats, while the other 12 are elected on a national level through party-list proportional representation. Each constituency, with the exception of those in Attica and Thessaloniki, corresponds to a single prefecture of Greece, even though these were abolished in 2010.

This is a list of Italian constituencies from 1946 to present. For the election of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, since 1993 Italy is divided in 27 districts called circoscrizioni. However, the distribution of seats being calculated at national level, districts serve only to choose the single candidates inside the party lists. During the election of the Italian Senate, according to the Constitution, each Region is a single district, without connections at national level.

Jamaica's fourteen parishes are subdivided into sixty-three constituencies. The country follows the Westminster system and elects sixty-three Members of Parliament (MPs) to the Jamaica House of Representatives.

As of 2005, the House of Representatives of Japan is elected from a combination of multi-member districts and single-member districts. Currently, 180 members are elected from 11 multi-member districts by a party-list system of proportional representation (PR), and 295 members are elected from single-member districts, for a total of 475. 238 seats are therefore required for a majority. Each PR block consists of one or more prefectures, and each prefecture is divided into one or more single-member districts. In general, the block districts correspond loosely to the major regions of Japan, with some of the larger regions subdivided.

Constituencies of Kenya are used to elect members of the Kenyan parliament. In accordance with article 89 of the 2010 Constitution of Kenya, there are 290 number of constituencies, based on a formula where these Constituencies were to be delineated based on population numbers.

Legislative circonscriptions (Luxembourg)

A legislative circonscription is a multi-member electoral constituency that elects representatives ('deputies') to Luxembourg's unicameral national legislature, the Chamber of Deputies.

Each of the 14 regions of Namibia is further subdivided into electoral constituencies. The size of the constituencies varies with the size and population of each region. There are currently 121 constituencies in Namibia. The most populous constituency according to the 2011 census was Rundu Urban in the Kavango West region with 63,431 people; the least populous was Okatyali in the Oshana region with 3,187 people. The administrative division of Namibia is tabled by Delimitation Commissions and accepted or declined by the National Assembly. In 1992, the First Delimitation Commission chaired by Judge President Johan Strydom determined the number of constituencies to be 95. Since then, every Delimitation Commission has increased this number to accommodate population growth. The fourth Delimitation Commission increased the number of constituencies to its present number in 2013.

Nauru has 8 Constituencies, and each of them includes one or more districts. Ubenide sends 4 members to the Parliament of Nauru, Meneng 3 members, the others all send 2.

The House of Representatives of Nepal has 166 constituencies, of which 165 elect a single member using first-past-the-post voting and one nationwide constituency that elects 110 members by proportional representation. The current constituencies are based on the Constituency Delimitation Commission (CDC) report submitted on 31 August 2017. According to the constitution, the new constituencies cannot be altered for another 20 years and cannot be challenged in any court of law.

An electorate or electoral district, or informally, a seat, is a geographical constituency used for electing members to the New Zealand Parliament. The size of electorates is determined such that all electorates have approximately the same population.

Congressional districts of the Philippines refers to the electoral districts or constituencies in which the country is divided for the purpose of electing 243 of the 303 members of the House of Representatives. The country is currently divided into 243 congressional districts, also known as legislative districts or representative districts, with each one representing at least 250,000 people or one entire province. The 1987 Constitution of the Philippines initially provided for a maximum 200 congressional districts or 80 percent of the maximum 250 seats for the lower house, with the remaining 20 percent or 50 seats allotted for sectoral or party-list representatives. This number has since been revised with the enactment of several laws creating more districts pursuant to the 1991 Local Government Code.

The senatorial districts of the Philippines were the representations of the provinces of the Philippines in the Philippine Senate from 1916 to 1935.

Constituencies in Singapore are electoral divisions which may be represented by single or multiple seats in the Parliament of Singapore. Constituencies are classified as either Single Member Constituencies (SMCs) or Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs). SMCs are single-seat constituencies but GRCs have between four and six seats in Parliament.

Congressional districts in the United States are electoral divisions for the purpose of electing members of the United States House of Representatives. The number of voting seats in the House of Representatives is currently set at 435 with each one representing approximately 711,000 people. That number has applied since 1913, excluding a temporary increase to 437 after the admissions of Alaska and Hawaii. The total number of state members is capped by the Reapportionment Act of 1929. In addition, each of the five inhabited U.S. territories and the federal district of Washington, D.C. sends a non-voting delegate to the House of Representatives.

The National Assembly of Zambia has 156 single-member constituencies.
