The Air Force Heritage Museum and Air Park, in Winnipeg, Manitoba displays aircraft and artifacts pertaining to the history of the Canadian Air Force. The park contains memorials to Canadian air search and rescue, and to the people who trained under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. The museum was established in 1975. Memorials in the park were dedicated in 1999.

The American Airlines C.R. Smith Museum (CRSM) is located on the campus of the American Airlines Flight Academy, which is situated at the southern end of DFW Airport, in the city limits of Fort Worth, Texas, and in close proximity to the world headquarters of American Airlines. The location is at the midpoint between Downtown Dallas and Downtown Fort Worth near the intersection of Highways 183 and 360. The CRSM has an exhibit gallery of approximately 25,000 square feet (2,300 m2) and a 10,000-square-foot (930 m2) hangar that houses the Flagship Knoxville, a fully restored DC-3 aircraft. The museum also includes a 1,500-square-foot (140 m2) gift shop and a large-format theatre similar to IMAX.

The CAF Airpower Museum, formerly the American Airpower Heritage Museum (AAHM), is affiliate organization of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF), headquartered at Dallas Executive Airport in Dallas, Texas. The museum opened in its first building in Mercedes, Texas, in 1965 as a location to house and display World War II artifacts as they began to be donated to the CAF. Both the CAF and AAHM moved to Harlingen, Texas, in 1968. In 1990, the AAHM became a separate non-profit organization, and in 1991 both the AAHM and CAF moved to Midland, Texas. In 2015, the museum's collection was moved to Dallas in anticipation of the creation of the new CAF National Airbase.

Part of the Western Reserve Historical Society and housed at the Cleveland History Center, it was founded by industrialist Frederick C. Crawford of TRW, and opened in 1965. The collection began as the Thompson Products Auto Album, which was also founded by Crawford. Crawford explained that when he started collecting the cars, it was simply because it seemed a shame to let them be scrapped, which was the typical fate of almost all antique machinery at the time.
