
The Baltic Sea watchtower in Börgerende is an old watchtower that belonged to the Coastal Brigade of the East German Border Troops. As a maritime border observation tower it belonged to a series of originally 27 towers of this type on the Baltic Sea coast of East Germany, of which two have survived. The other remaining tower is in Kühlungsborn.
The Bay of Mecklenburg, also known as the Mecklenburg Bay or Mecklenburg Bight, is a long narrow basin making up the southwestern finger-like arm of the Baltic Sea, between the shores of Germany to the south and the Danish islands of Lolland, Falster, and Møn to the north, the shores of Jutland to the west, and joining the largest part of the Baltic to the east.

The Botanischer Garten Universität Rostock, also known as the Botanischer Garten Rostock, is a botanical garden and arboretum maintained by the University of Rostock. It is adjacent to the university sports fields along Hans-Sachs Allee, Rostock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, and open daily except Monday in the warmer months.

Grimkesee is a lake in Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. At an elevation of ca. 40 m, its surface area is 0.038 km².

The Groß Raden Archaeological Open Air Museum lies a few kilometres north of the small town of Sternberg and about a kilometre northeast of the village of Groß Raden in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The site is in a depression that borders directly onto the lake of Radener See. On a peninsula in front of that lies its circular castle rampart, visible from afar, which has a diameter of 50 metres. From 1973 to 1980 extensive excavations were carried out here, led by Ewald Schuldt, during the course of which the remnants of a Slavic settlement dating to the 9th and 10th centuries was unearthed. The fort has been reconstructed based on the excavations and established as an archaeological open-air museum. It has been enhanced by finds from the Slavic castle of Behren-Lübchin.

Lake Schwerin is a lake in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, northern Germany. It was named after the city Schwerin, on its southwestern shore. The smaller town Bad Kleinen is on the north shore of the lake. Its surface is approximately 61.54 square kilometres (23.76 sq mi), and its maximum depth is 52.4 metres (172 ft). The natural outflow of the lake is the (channelized) river Stör, a tributary of the Elde, and part of the Elbe watershed. The Wallensteingraben, a 16th-century canal, connects the lake with the Baltic Sea at Wismar.

Lüdershagen is a Baltic Sea municipality in the Vorpommern-Rügen district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Located about 18 km southwest of Barth and part of Amt Barth, Lüdershagen is about 15 km east of Ribnitz-Damgarten. To the north of the town is Gäthkenhäger forest, and to the south is Highway 105 (Rostock-Stralsund). The population of Lüdershagen is about 580.

Neumühler See is a lake in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. At an elevation of 44 m, its surface area is 1.715 km².

The Nonnensee is a lake in the borough of Bergen auf Rügen, Vorpommern-Rügen district, in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is located northwest of the town of Bergen auf Rügen and is a very shallow lake. As a result, attempts were made as early as 1859/60 to drain the lake for agricultural land. Since about 1970 the lake was artificially drained and dried out. In 1993 the pumping station was shut and the lake re-established. Only a few tree stumps that jut out of the water, indicate that it was temporarily dry land. The lake is part of the protected area known as the North Rügen Bodden and Nonnensee and is a breeding place and sanctuary for many bird species as well as a recreation area for the nearby town. For example, a five kilometre long circular path runs around the lake with benches and two bird hides from which the rich variety of bird life can be observed.

Parumer See is a lake in Mecklenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. At an elevation of 3.6 m, its surface area is 2.07 km².

The Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Museum of Technology was founded in 1961 in Schwerin as the Polytechnic Museum and was located in several rooms within Schwerin Castle. Later, it moved to the Marstall buildings next to the castle.

The Stralsund Theatre in the German town of Stralsund has a long tradition. Performances of theatre pieces on the Alter Markt are documented in the years 1553 and 1584. The present building was designed by Carl Moritz and opened in 1914. The tradition has continued since the merger of the theatres of the towns of Stralsund and Greifswald in 1994 into the Theatre of West Pomerania.

The Theatre of West Pomerania is a theatre in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern that is operated legally as a GmbH, a form of public limited company. Its shareholders are the Hanseatic towns of Stralsund and Greifswald and the town of Putbus. The Theatre of West Pomerania puts on plays, ballets, concerts, operas, operettas and musicals.

The Tromper Wiek is a bay on the Baltic Sea between the peninsulas of Wittow and Jasmund on the island of Rügen in northeast Germany.

Unterwarnow is the estuary of the Warnow River in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, northern Germany. Connected with the Baltic Sea in Warnemünde. On the coasts of the estuary, the city of Rostock is located.
The Wismar Theatre is located on the site of the University of Wismar on Phillip-Müller-Straße in the Hanseatic Town of Wismar.
