
The Baloch are an Iranian people who live mainly in the Balochistan region of the southeasternmost edge of the Iranian plateau in Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan. There are also diaspora communities in neighboring regions, including those in India; and having a significant diaspora in the Arabian Peninsula.

Mir Murad Abro was a minister of the Balochistan Government. And a member of the Jamote Qaumi Movement. He was the son of Mir Abdul Malik Abro and brother of Mir Murtaza Abro. He died in a road accident in October 2008. He was a great politician of his time. He remained minister in the caretaker government of 2007–2008.

Munir Ahmed Badini born in 1953) is a Pakistani novelist and writer. The receipent of literary awards, including the Pride of Performance, he primarily write in Balochi and English languages.

Abdul Malik Baloch was the 21st Chief Minister of Balochistan, Pakistan from 7 June 2013 to 23 December 2015. He was born in Turbat District, Makran and he is a member of the Hooth tribe.

Ghulam Mohammed Baloch was a Baloch nationalist politician. At the time of his assassination in 2009, he was serving as the president of the Baloch National Movement, as well as the General Secretary of the newly formed Baloch National Front. He had earlier served as a chairman of the Baloch Students Organization. His dead body was discovered on 9 April 2009, five days after being detained by gunmen who were allegedly communicating in Persian language. The killing led to riots around Balochistan. He had been detained several times in the past by Pakistani intelligence agencies due to his political activities.

Naeem Baloch served as the Governor of the Helmand Province in Afghanistan from 2012 until 2015. Prior to that, he worked as an Afghan intelligence officer in the Helmand Province.

Mr. Baloch has experience of developing, managing and coordinating high-impact governance projects such as constitution making processes, legislative reform, peace negotiations and power-sharing with specific focus on youth, women and marginalized groups. Provided expertise in analysing and developing institutional and cross departmental responses to challenges posed in complex conflict and post conflict polarized operating environments.

Shahlyla Ahmadzai Baloch was a Pakistani professional footballer who played as a forward for Balochistan United and the Pakistan national women's team.

Balochistan(Balochi: بلوچستان) or Baluchistan is an arid, mountainous region that includes part of southern and southwestern Afghanistan. It extends into southeastern Iran and western Pakistan and is named after the Baloch people.

Ammar Al-Baluchi is a Pakistani citizen in U.S. custody at Guantanamo Bay detention camp. Charges against him include "facilitating the 9/11 attackers, acting as a courier for Osama bin Laden and plotting to crash a plane packed with explosives into the U.S. consulate in Karachi."

Ghulam Hussain Saba Dashtyari commonly known as "Saba Dashtyari", was a professor of Islamic Studies at the University of Balochistan in Quetta, Balochistan.

Maulana Muhammad Abdullah Ghazi Son of, was born on 1 June 1935 and died 17 October 1998. He was born in the far-flung village of Rajanpur, Basti-Abdullah, into the family of farmer. His father was socially active which got him in trouble many times and he was arrested by the British and sentenced to 8 years in jail. In jail he became religious and motivated Abdullah to enrolled into a local madrassa at the age of 7 and later he moved to Karachi for further study. In accordance with his father's wish, he dedicated himself to study and graduated from Jamia Uloom-ul-Islamia in Banori-town Karachi. He was appointed as the first Imam of the Lal Masjid in 1966. He created many seminaries in Pakistan and the first time in Pakistan, he introduced a female madrassa education system and created Pakistan's first female seminary Jamia Hafsa. In 1997 he was appointed as Chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal committee till his assassination 1998. He had good relations with other sects and non-Muslims. His biographer, Riaz Mansoor, states.

Nawab Mushtaq Ahmed Gurmani was a Pakistani politician who served as the Diwan of the Bahawalpur State. After the partition of India and the accession of Bahawalpur, he served as a 'Minister without Portfolio' in the central Government of Pakistan in charge Kashmir Affairs, and later as the Interior Minister of Pakistan and Governor of the 'One Unit' of West Pakistan.

Prince Agha Abdul Karim Khan Ahmedzai was the younger brother of the Khan of Kalat, Mir Ahmedyar Khan, who was the last ruler of independent Baluchistan. After the British left Baluchistan on 13 August 1947, the Khan of Kalat declared independence on the 15th August 1947. Baluchistan was independent for six months and then it was forcibly annexed by Pakistan when the Khan of Kalat was coerced under threats of separation of Makran from Kalat and military action, to sign the annexation papers

Jam Mir Kamal Khan Alyani is a Pakistani politician who is the current and 16th Chief Minister of Balochistan, in office since 19 August 2018. He has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan since August 2018.

Muhammad Latif Khosa was the Governor of Punjab, and a politician representing Pakistan People's Party. A former senator and a former Attorney General of Pakistan, Latif Khosa was appointed as the Governor of Punjab by the President of Pakistan after the murder of late-Governor Salman Taseer on 11 January 2011. He was appointed the attorney general on 19 August 2008. Also served as chairman of the executive committee (CEC) of Pakistan Bar Council. He co-authored an electoral fraud report with former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto shortly before her assassination in December 2007. Khosa was one of Bhutto's top aides.

Gharanai Khwakhuzhi is a Career Diplomat and Foreign Service Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, currently serving as the Deputy Director General for Regional Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs dealing with the Heart of Asia - Istanbul Process.

Gen. Gharzai Khwakhuzhi, son of late. ustad Mohammad Ibraheem Khwakhuzhi original resident of Kandahar born in Kabul on 29 May 1962 belongs to Baloch ethnic group.

Ustad Mohammad Ibraheem Khwakhuzhi son of Dur Mohammad Khan Baloch was born on 28 February 1920 in Malajat district of Kandahar province, Afghanistan. His son Gharzai Khwakhuzhi is an active politician in Afghan government and his grandson Gharanai Khwakhuzhi is an Afghan Foreign Service Officer at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Mai Kolachi was kind and fisher woman who settled near the delta of the Indus River to start a community. She lost her husband in a storm and despite the villagers warnings went to search for him herself. Kolachi was successful and the village was named after her as Kolachi and this community was later developed into modern Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi, was the 20th Governor of Balochistan Province since 28 February 2008 to 9 June 2013 as well as the chief executive of Balochistan since 14 January 2013. He is the Nawab and Tumandar of the Magsi Tribe, a former Governor and a former Chief Executive of Balochistan, a senior politician and the former Chief Minister of Balochistan province in the Benazir Bhutto government of 1993–1996. Nawab was appointed as the Chief Executive of Balochistan on 13 January 2013 after the sacking of Aslam Raisani's unpopular government and imposition of Governor's Rule. It was the main after effect of the January 2013 Pakistan bombings. Nawab Magsi did his schooling from Aitchison College, Lahore. He first came to politics in 1977, when he won as an independent candidate seat from his native constituency in the provincial assembly. However, his family was involved in Balochistan politics before Pakistani independence. He served in many provincial ministries and also worked in the Home Ministry in the 1990s. In 1993, his coalition won majority of seats and he became Chief Minister of Balochistan.

Mir Sher Alam Marri Baloch, exiled Baloch leader son of first Baloch guerrilla commander Sher Mohammad Marri a Baloch nationalist and tribal chief. Mir Sher Alam Marri belongs to an influential family in Marri Baloch tribe, his grandfather Mir Saydan Marri joined the Rebellion against the British, and went to Afghanistan and died there, and is buried in Kandahar.

Alauddin Marri is a Pakistani businessman and social worker who served as caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan, in office from 8 June 2018 to 19 August 2018.

Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri, Balochi: نواب خیر بخش مری) was a Baloch politician from the province of Balochistan in Pakistan.

Mehran Marri is the sixth son of Baloch nationalist leader Khair Bakhsh Marri On 16 November 2017, Mehran Marri was arrested at Zurich Airport by Swiss immigration authorities. Shortly after his arrest, Mehran Marri was placed under lifetime ban on entry to Switzerland. Swiss authorities issued a chargesheet in which they stated that Mehran Marri is the head of United Baloch Army (UBA). The chargesheet further stated that "if Marri was to enter Switzerland and work with Brahamdagh Bugti to coordinate terrorist operations, it could jeopardize the internal security of Switzerland".

Muniba Mazari Baloch is a Pakistani activist, anchor artist, model, singer and motivational speaker. She became the National Ambassador for UN Women Pakistan after being shortlisted in the 100 Inspirational Women of 2015 by BBC. She also made it to the Forbes 30 under 30 list for 2016.

Sardar Asif Mengal is the acting chief of the Zagar Mengal, one of the two main clans of the Mengal tribe in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. He is a popular political and tribal figure of Balochistan. Sardar Asif Mengal plays an important role in the traditional jirga system to resolve conflicts among Baloch tribes.

Mir Noor-ud-din Mengal was a senior Baloch politician who was active in Balochistan's political scene for nearly four decades, from 1970 to 2010. He belonged to the famed Zagar Mengal tribe and was the nephew of the Baloch National Poet Mir Gul Khan Nasir. His father's name was Mir Lal Bakhsh Mengal and he had seven siblings. His mother was a prominent member of the Gichki family from Mekran.

Mir Gul Khan Naseer, also widely regarded as Malek o-Sho'arā Balochistan was a prominent politician, poet, historian, and journalist from Balochistan, Pakistan. Born on 14 May 1914 in Noshki, Gul Khan Naseer was at the forefront of the Baloch nationalist movement and was most active between 1935 and 1980. His father's name was Mir Habib Khan and he belonged to the Paindzai family of the Zagar Mengal sub branch of the Mengal tribe. Mir Gul Khan's mother "Bibi Hooran" belonged to the Rakhshani branch of the Bolazai Badini. Mir Habib Khan had five sons and three daughters. Mir Gul Khan Nasir was number seven among his eight siblings and he was the fourth amongst his brothers (i.e.) Mir Samand Khan, Mir Lawang Khan, Mir Lal Bux, Mir Gul Khan and Col. Sultan Mohammad Khan.

He is best known for his lead comedy roles in the Nadaniyan, Extras: The Mango People and Larka Karachi Ka Kuri Lahore Di. Since 2016, he appears on popular sitcom Hum Sab Ajeeb Se Hain as Pasha.

Ayaz Latif Palijo is a politician, lawyer, activist, writer and teacher. Palijo is the president of Qomi Awami Tahreek, central convener and founder of the Sindh Progressive Nationalist Alliance (SPNA), one of the founders and central Secretary General of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA). Since 2007, he has represented the left, objecting to the division of the southeastern Pakistan province of Sindh.

Rakhshani is a village in Dust Mohammad Rural District, in the Central District of Hirmand County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. It lies near the border with Afghanistan. At the 2006 census, its population was 33, in 8 families.

Chakar Khan Rind, Mir Shakar Khan Rind, Meer Chaakar Khan Rind or Chakar The Great, Chakar-i-Azam Baloch Nation (1468–1565) was a Baloch chieftain in the 16th century. He aided Mughal Emperor Humayun in his reconquest of the Subcontinent. He is considered a folk hero of the Baloch people and an important figure in the Baloch epic Hani and Sheh Mureed.

Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani is a Pakistani politician who is from Balochistan and is the 8th and current Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan. He took his oath of office as Member and Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan on 12 March 2018. He is the youngest and first ever Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan who hails from the province of Balochistan.

Ameer/Sardar Dost Mohammad Khan Baloch Barazani Baloch, also known as Mir Dost Muhammad Khan Baluch, was the ruler of Western Baluchistan till 1928, when the Persian army occupied the western part of Balochistan with the help of British, under the command of Reza Khan and Amanullah Jahanbani.
