Aircraft Museum Kathmandu

Aircraft Museum Kathmandu is an aviation museum located in Sinamangal, Kathmandu, Nepal. The museum is inside an Airbus A330-300 of Turkish Airlines that only flew for about eight months before suffering a runway excursion at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu in March 2015. It was established under a joint initiative by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and pilot Bed Upreti and his trust. This museum was officially opened to public on 28 November, 2017. The museum's exhibits include the aircraft's original cockpit setting, model and miniature aircraft and items documenting the history of Nepalese aviation. The museum is the second of its kind in Nepal, after Bed Upreti had already set up a similar, yet smaller aviation museum, the Aircraft Museum Dhangadhi in Dhangadhi in Western Nepal. The museum cost around NPRs 70 million.

Ankuri Mahadev is a Hindu temple located in Mahadeva in the Saptari District of Nepal. The place has Shiva Linga in the main temple, as well as Goddess Parvati and God Hanuman in other temples. The Shiva Linga has a dent of size of fist on the top. It is said that the place was a crematorium long ago and was an isolated place. Some cowherds from nearby villages used to go there. They brought it several times to their home, but the Shiva Ling used to return to its own place. It is also said that whoever tried to take the Shiva Linga their home, misery befell upon them and a member of their family fell sick or died. Later the master of the cowherds heard about these and built a temple for Shiva Linga on the same place.

Bhadrakali Temple is a temple on the East of Pokhara in Kundahar, atop a small hill. It is dedicated to the Goddess Kali. Founded in the year 1817, the temple shrines the Hindu goddess of power and strength. Bhadrakali or Durga covers an area of 135 ropanies. There are two ways to reach atop: the eastern way has 292 steps to reach the temple while traversing from the southern part is only 265 steps. In the year 1817, the temple was previously known as “Mudule Thumpko." Currently, the temple stands at 230 feet above sea level, and it is surrounded by greenery, which give it a "peaceful environment."
