
The 26 Commissars Memorial was a Soviet-era monument located in Baku, Azerbaijan, that paid tribute to the 26 Baku Commissars from the Baku commune. The commune was overthrown in 1918 and the commissars later executed near Krasnovodsk. The monument was constructed by sculptors I. Zeynalov and N. Mamedov, and architects G. Aleskerov and Alesker Huseynov, who eventually became a prominent politician in Azerbaijan. The remains of the Commissars were buried at the site of the memorial.

Alinjagala, Alinja-gala or Alinja tower, earlier, up to the 14th century, the fortress was known as an medieval fortress – is a tower is located to the west of Khanega village, not far from Julfa city of Azerbaijan, on the right coast of the Alinja River (Alinjachay), on the top of Alinja Mountain. The Armenian cemetery in Julfa was a cemetery near the town of Julfa, in the Nakhchivan exclave of Azerbaijan that originally housed around 10,000 funerary monuments. The tombstones consisted mainly of thousands of khachkars - uniquely decorated cross-stones characteristic of medieval Christian Armenian art. The cemetery was still standing in the late 1990s, when the government of Azerbaijan began a systematic campaign to destroy the monuments.

Chirag Gala, also spelled Çiraq Qala or Çirax Qala, which means lamp castle in Azerbaijani is a ruined ancient fortress overlooking the Caspian coastal plains north of Baku in Azerbaijan. It is located on the top of a mountain, in the Guba Forest. It was constructed by the Sassanid Persians in the 5th century, it was used as a defense for the khanate of Quba in the 18th century.

The Geysariyye Monument is a historical and architectural monument of the 17th century located in Ordubad, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Situated at market square, the city center of Ordubad, it is one the Turco-Islamic monuments of Nakhchivan. Total area of Geysariyye is 540 m². It consists of a large dome and 16 small dome adjacent to it. The monument is made of baked bricks with a height of 8.5 meters. The windows of the historic building were developed with network method.

Gulustan fortress is an ancient fortress in Goranboy region of Azerbaijan. The fortress is located at the foothills of Murovdag, bordering Agdere and Goranboy regions. It is encircled by precipice from eastern, western and southwestern sides, forest from the north side, and slope from the south-eastside. The fortress is situated on the coast of Incechay, at a height of 1700 m above sea level and 200–250 m above the nearby territory. The way to the fortress is from south-east. The length of the fortress is 200–250 m in the east-west direction and 20–25 m in the north-south direction. The width of the wall is 0.8-0.9 m in the north and west, and in the south wall it is 1.5 m. It is reported that there is also a secret road leading to the river.

Ramana Tower – is a tower in Ramana village of Baku and dated back to the 12th century. Height of the tower is 15 metres (49 ft). Exact construction date of the tower, which is built of white stone, is not known. It is considered that the tower was built for the purpose of defense and used as a castle during the Shirvanshahs’ reign.

Shah Sultan Hussein mosque is a historical mosque of the XVIII century, located in the village of Novkhany in Absheron district of Azerbaijan, 21 kilometers from Baku. It is estimated that the mosque was once located in the center of an ancient residential center, which currently is a desert.
Shahbulag Castle is an 18th-century fortress near Aghdam in Azerbaijan built by the Karabakh Khan Panah Ali.

Shahbulag Mosque is a historical and architectural monument located in the area called Shahbulag in the Agdam region of Azerbaijan. The mosque was built by order of Panah Ali Khan in 1751–1752.

It is an architectural monument of Azerbaijan and is a cultic construction, which was spread in architecture of the northern regions of Azerbaijan. The mosque was constructed in the 15th century and was named in honor of the woman who ordered its construction.

The Yazdegerd Castle is a pre-medieval Sassanid castle in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. It is constructed solely of mud. The castle is named after the last Sassanid king, Yazdegerd III (632–651).
