
Bajram Curri is a town and administrative unit in the municipality of Tropojë, northeastern Albania. The town is located in a remote and mountainous region of the Albanian Alps, within the Valbonë Valley, and close to the border to Kosovo. It is named after Bajram Curri, a national hero who fought for ethnic Albanians, first against the Ottoman Empire and later against the Albanian government.

The city has gained wider fame due to President George W. Bush's visit on Sunday, 10 June 2007. Fushë-Krujë was also the site of one of Skanderbeg's famous battles. Shote Galica, Albania's Kosovar Heroine, died here in 1927.

Këlcyrë is a town and a municipality in southern Albania, located on the bank of the river Vjosë. It was formed at the 2015 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities Ballaban, Dishnicë, Këlcyrë and Sukë, that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the town Këlcyrë. The total population is 6,113, in a total area of 304.86 km2. The population of the former municipality at the 2011 census was 2,651. The Vjosë forms a canyon near the town, known as the Këlcyrë Gorge.

It is the smaller of two cities in the district, the other being Korçë, 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Maliq. Historically, Polican has been part of Berat County except from 1978-1991 when city was made part of Skrapar due to political pressure from the regime at that time. Shëngjin is a coastal town and a former municipality in Lezhë County, northwestern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality of Lezhë. The population at the 2011 census was 8,091. Shëngjin is a growing tourist destination, well known for its beaches and resort accommodations. Shëngjin is one of many cities within the District of Lezhë and is home to one of Albania's entry ports, Port of Shëngjin.

Shijak is a town and a municipality in Durrës County, west-central Albania. The seat of the municipality is the town Vau i Dejës. The total population is 30,438, in a total area of 499.35 km2. The population of the former municipality at the 2011 census was 8,117.
