The Latvia–Lithuania border is the state border between Latvia and Lithuania. The length of the land border is 588.1 kilometres (365.4 mi) with additional 22.2 kilometres (13.8 mi) of sea border.

Mūša is a river in Northern Lithuania and Southern Latvia. At its confluence with the river Nemunėlis in Latvia, near city Bauska, the river Lielupė is formed. The river is 164 kilometers long.

Nemunėlis is a river in northern Lithuania and southern Latvia. It originates 6 km south of Rokiškis. It is 191 kilometres long before its confluence with the Mūša, near Bauska, forming the Lielupe.

Nereta is a river of Biržai district municipality, Panevėžys County, northern Lithuania and Southern Latvia. It flows for 25 kilometres (16 mi). It is Latvia-Lithuania border river for 18 km (11 mi).
The Šventoji or Latvian Sventāja is a river in the northwest of Lithuania and southwest of Latvia. It begins in Skuodas district and for 30 km flows on the international border between Latvia and Lithuania. The Šventoji flows into the Baltic Sea near Šventoji settlement north of Palanga. Būtingė oil terminal lies near the mouth.

The river Švėtė flows through the Šiauliai and Joniškis districts in the northern part of Lithuania, and the southern part of Latvia. The source of the Švėtė is near Tulominai, about 16 km southeast of Kuršėnai, and the river flows north passing by Žagarė, near the Latvian border. It is a tributary of the Lielupe, joining it 8 km to the northwest of Jelgava. The Lielupe ultimately flows into the Baltic Sea.
Vadakste is a river in the southern Latvia and northern Lithuania. It is a right tributary of the Venta River. The length is 82.2 km (51.1 mi), of which over 55 km (34 mi) follow the Latvia–Lithuania border. The catchment area is 1,230 km2 (470 sq mi). It originates near the city Auce, Latvia. It flows first in a southwest, and then in a westerly direction. It begins to flow along the border between Latvia and Lithuania from the village of Vegeriai. It flows into Venta at 184.2 km (114.5 mi) from its mouth, in the village of Griežė, 2 km (1.2 mi) northwest of Leckava.
