WTondo is a district located in Manila, Philippines. It is the largest in terms of area and population of Manila's sixteen districts, with a Census-estimated 631,313 people in 2015 and consists of two congressional districts. It is also the most densely populated district in the city.
WJosé Abad Santos Avenue is a major north–south arterial road located in the district of Tondo in northern Manila, Philippines. It is a divided roadway with four lanes in each direction running through the eastern edge of Tondo from the intersection with Rizal Avenue near the Manila Chinese Cemetery at its north end to Recto Avenue near the Tutuban railway station at the district boundary of Tondo and Binondo at the south.

It runs east-west from Rizal Avenue by its namesake Line 1 station at the district's border with Santa Cruz to Cecilio Namie Street by its border with Maypajo, Caloocan. The street was constructed in the 1950s as part of the city's rebuilding and expansion plan after World War II.
