WAgdam District is a district in southwestern Azerbaijan. The de jure capital is the city of Agdam, however the de facto administrative centre is Quzanlı. Most of the territory of the district was under the occupation of Armenian forces as the result of the First Nagorno-Karabakh War in the early 1990s. As part of an agreement that ended the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War the city of Agdam and the surrounding district was returned to Azerbaijani control on 20 November 2020.
WThe Armenian-occupied territories surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh were areas of Azerbaijan, situated outside the former Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast (NKAO), which were occupied by the military forces of the internationally unrecognized Republic of Artsakh since the end of the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. As of December 2020, the territory has been transferred from Armenian control to Azerbaijani control in the aftermath of the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War.
WFuzuli District is a rayon of Azerbaijan. It was named after the Azerbaijani poet Fuzûlî. Its official capital is the town of Füzuli, however as a result of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the temporary seat is Horadiz. After the whole district was recaptured by Azerbaijan during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, it's expected for the seat to return to Fuzuli.
WJabrayil District is located in the south-western part of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the Minor Caucasus Mountains. It borders by the Iran to the south, Zangilan District to the southwest, Qubadli District to the west, Khojavend District to the north and Fuzuli District to the east.

WLachin District is a district in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Its administrative center is the city of Lachin. This territory was established in 1930 and given the status of a district. It was under the effective control of the self-declared Republic of Artsakh from 1992 until late 2020. Under the terms of an agreement that ended the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War, most of the district was returned to Azerbaijani control on 1 December 2020.
WQubadli District, is a district of Azerbaijan. The region holds rich subsoil resources and mysterious natural beauty, and is situated between Mount Zangazur and Nagorno Karabakh mountain range. It was established in 1933 as an administrative unit. Its area covers 802 square km. There are 94 residential districts, including a town and 93 villages.
WTartar is a district of Azerbaijan. It consists of the former Tartar Rayon and a part of former Mardakert District the former Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast. Since the First Nagorno-Karabakh War, most of it has been under the control of the unrecognized Republic of Artsakh, governed as part of its Martakert Province.
WZangilan District is a district in south-west Azerbaijan with the administrative centre being the city of Zangilan.
